USWIFI, LLC

USwifi is a regional internet service provider, providing broadband connections to unserved communities across northern Louisiana.  We find great pent up demand in these unserved locations coupled with frustration that billions of dollars in federal broadband programs have not brought a single broadband provider to these communities.

Some communities are taking matters into their own hands and are contributing dollars to companies willing to deploy service.  For example, the Village of Goldonna dedicated its federal infrastructure funds to offset well over half of USwifi’s cost to deploy a fixed wireless network service to the community. Within a month, 83% of the homes in Goldonna signed up for service. This cooperative endeavor model can be used in hundreds of local jurisdictions in Louisiana, and USwifi is already in talks with several communities interested in this Broadband Acceleration public/private partnership.

Once investment dollars are available, USwifi will deploy over 30 high priority fixed wireless tower sites in 4 to 5 months.  These deployment-ready sites will provide internet coverage to thousands of subscribers who have zero high speed internet service options. The attached investor deck and business model spreadsheet lay out the plan for a full 302 tower site deployment in Northern Louisiana. We already have network designs for expansion into neighboring states as well as a soon to launch national service offering.

We have over $1,000,000 in current grant requests with various state and local government stakeholders, with several million dollars in additional grant requests on the near horizon.

Our services department has approx $500,000 work in progress, which will be completed mid May.

Also, we recently acquired an internet service provider in Franklin Parish, LA, and started our advertising campaign. We have over 150 new customers pending installation.

We are currently launching three additional fixed wireless towers near West Monroe, LA, where we have over 200 customers signed up, waiting on internet service. I attached the equipment proposals for these three sites. These next three locations, once on air, will make true, high speed internet available to almost 11,000 addresses in Calhoun and western Ouachita Parish.
