U CART IT CONCRETE LLC was started in 2004 and incoporated in 2008. It serves a ninch market of providing short loads of concrete from 1-3 cubic yards that customers can pick up in towable carts or can be delivered in our mini concrete trucks. Our prices are 50% less then local plants, but my profit margins are 75% higher then theirs.
Large concrete manufacturers do not provide affordable raw concrete in smaller batches because it isn't profitable for them. They have these huge 80,000lbs diesel trucks that deliver 10 cubic yards of concrete at a time. They have delivery fees, fuel fees, shortload fees ONTOP OF THE PRICE OF THE CONCRETE!
The cost for Cemex to bring a customer 3 cubic yards of concrete is $225 x3 = $675 + $700 (Short load Fee), $305 (Delivery Fee), $30 (EPA Fee) and $111.15 (Taxes) =$1,821.15.
We can provide the same 3 yards in a U Cart Trailer for $780 + tax or delivery for 260 x 3 = $780 + $150 (Delivery Fee) is $930 + 60.45 taxes = $990.45
That is a savings of 50%. Currently I have 4 trucks that batch up at local concrete plant. I buy concrete from them wholesale at $165-$185 cubic yard based on mix and resell it from $285-$310 a cubic yard. Setting up my own small batch plant allows me to produce my own concrete for $75 a cubic yard and still sell it at current prices.

As I said I have 4 mini concrete trucks: two 2 yarders and two 3 yarders, a 220 LP Belgrade Silo,  a Cementech SCD3-70 Volumetric Mixer, a 1000 gallon water tank and five(5) towable carts. I just need to secure a lease on a 1 acre industrial lot to set up the batch plant, a mobile office and buy bulk raw goods.  This will expand my business from delivering concrete  to manufacturing and delivering my own concrete.
