Twisted Texas Food Truck

My name is Brandon Garrett, and I am the sole proprietor of Twisted Texas Food Truck where I gather inspiration from the world around us and put it into food with the freshest, highest quality ingredients to bring people together. 

The menu will consist of Texas inspired foods with an added inspiration from other region’s cuisine and cultures with Texas sized plates. Food Trucks industry is projected to be a $1.3bn industry in 2021, which is an expected increase of 2.4%.

 Controlling food costs, labor costs will, commissary, supply costs will help us make a 35-40% profit. 

We plan on taking full advantage of this by booking private events, gaining partnerships with local breweries and distilleries, and operating at multiple food truck venues and cities. We have already spoken to several of these venues and gained access and permission to operate on their property. Twisted Texas already has a commissary to work out of North of Fort Worth at a lower cost than the average commissary. Quotes have been taken from several food truck creators and comparing to gain the best value. 

I have gained restaurant experience in the past sixteen years working in the industry in several positions. The past nine years I have been in the manager role for the front of house and back of house operations where I have gained experience creating systems, controlling costs, building teams, purchasing, and building recipes. I do not have any professional culinary training; however, I am extremely passionate about food and have been my entire life, growing up cooking next to my father and listening to his dreams of creating a restaurant, which he was never able to fulfill. I have done intense research and self-education to be able to engender my own recipes for my business. The brand was created by fusing my Texas roots with my passion to create chef inspired dishes.
