We offer in person sessions for learners that require extra lessons due to the pandemic and learning disabilities. We hope to help as many students reach the finish line. Our community needs a place for learners to get the extra help they need in core subjects, SAT/ACT prep and college prep. Many students are unable to achieve success after virtual learning disrupted their schooling. They are missing foundations and it is creating problems in the classroom. They are lacking confidence and gaining fear. I ran a program 2 years ago, with 50 students that was getting tutoring support, unfortunately the lady pulled out the funding for the next year. Many parents tried to pay for services out of pocket and some families were choosing between paying mortgages and light bills to help pay for tutoring. While I have tried to sustain a business and help these families, it is impossible. I am now seeking help to get this program off the ground again, but we would like to accommodate for 250 students.
