The Business
With the increasing need for mental health support, especially through the pandemic, our app connects those in need for as low as $10/session with the largest variety of niche mental health services on the market. Therapute is an all-in-one platform that helps providers to best operate their private practice from payment management, calendar & scheduling; and clientele building. We are focused on representing the "underrepresented" provider services ranging from Counseling and Life Coaching to Recovery/Addition, Mentorship, Health & Wellness, and more.
The Market
Currently, we exist within the Telehealth, Healthcare, and Health-tech markets. With a total available market of 2.4B, which is projected to reach 23.49 Billion by 2028. The global market size is 383.3B and is projected to reach 537.97 Billion by 2030; the demand for online services has grown 30% since 2019. Our current competitors are Talkspace and Betterhelp, however, we differ in many ways. Betterhelp offers to connect a user to a provider after taking an online intake session, or survey. Talkspace acts as a 24/7 chatroom that doesn't guarantee a response from a provider after normal business hours. Our app, Therapute, gives control and freedom to the user and provider to find one another with ease and at a low, transparent, cost.
Progress/Proof
Since our first round of financing in 2021, we have launched our app LIVE on the American market with 4 upgrades that continue to improve our app's use. We partnered with Nirvana Health, allowing us to offer reimbursements and work with insurance companies. We aligned ourselves with Rutgers University and are running ads on 60 buses across the campus.
We are working with Interdependence PR for coverage in The Washington Post, Good Morning America, Forbes, Crunchbase, Fast Company, and more. To date, we have over 525 providers who are going through our vetting process, 127 providers working within the app, and 56 users. We began converting to paid customers this past week and have since been featured in over 180+ media outlets.
Objectives/Future
We project financial growth from 15MM to 83MM in years 3-5 along with increased user and provider numbers to 1.2MM customers (users and providers) that are successfully working within the app at a 60% retention rate. We anticipate our churn rate to remain no higher than 20%. Within our second round of financing, we plan to push advertising, marketing, and PR efforts to bring Therapute to the hands of those in need on a national and international scale. These efforts include print, radio, film, and owned media. We plan on hiring our essential C Suite executives, which would include our CEO and COO, HR or Chief of Staff to manage our team, a CMO, Head of Sales, and part-time staff to help where it's needed.
