Seeking business next help for a austere personal hygiene system (Utility patent complete) applicable to governments, disaster relief, humanitarian orgs, hospitals and the outdoors

For nearly two decades, I have served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force within the Special Operations community, leading and operating in some of the world's most demanding environments. Across 19 combat deployments, one recurring challenge consistently stood out: maintaining personal hygiene when showers simply weren't available.

At the same time, my family and I have spent a lifetime hunting, camping, and operating in remote outdoor environments. Whether it was returning to camp after a long day in the field, cleaning game in freezing temperatures, or spending nights far from any modern facilities, we often found ourselves facing the same problem. Staying clean wasn't a matter of comfort—it was a matter of health, morale, and quality of life.

What started as conversations around campfires and lessons learned from military deployments eventually became a shared mission. Together, we recognized that the need for practical, portable hygiene solutions extended far beyond the military.

After returning home from years of operational deployments with chronic skin issues caused by prolonged exposure to harsh environments and limited access to proper hygiene, I began looking for a better answer. The more we explored the problem, the more we realized it affected countless others: disaster relief workers, first responders, humanitarian teams, missionaries, medical personnel, hunters, campers, overlanders, and anyone operating where traditional bathing facilities simply don't exist.

Driven by both operational experience and a family's passion for the outdoors, we developed the SRU — Shower Ready to Use — a patented portable hygiene system designed to provide a true full-body shower anywhere, anytime, and under virtually any conditions.

Awarded a full U.S. Utility Patent in April 2026, the SRU is a lightweight, vacuum-sealed, self-contained shower system engineered to package and deploy much like an MRE. The system integrates an optional water-heating capability and includes everything necessary to deliver a complete bathing experience in austere environments. Once used, all components are returned to the resealable pouch for clean and efficient disposal later.

The SRU combines concepts derived from U.S. military sustainment systems, hospital-grade hygiene practices, and years of practical field experience. The result is a scalable, portable bathing solution with applications across military operations, humanitarian assistance, disaster response, healthcare support, faith-based missions, first responder communities, and the outdoor recreation industry.

The target markets for the SRU include:

• U.S. and international government agencies
• Military and special operations forces
• Humanitarian and disaster relief organizations
• First responders and emergency management teams
• Hospitals and medical support operations
• Faith-based and missionary organizations
• Outdoor recreation markets including hunting, camping, overlanding, RV travel, fishing, and expedition communities

From a business standpoint, the SRU is positioned as a scalable consumable product with strong recurring demand potential across both government and commercial sectors. The system is lightweight, cost-efficient to transport, adaptable to multiple configurations, and designed for rapid deployment when hygiene matters most.

Development has progressed well beyond the concept stage. Prototyping is complete, functional samples are in hand, and the intellectual property foundation has been secured. We are actively engaging nonprofit organizations, pursuing a National Stock Number (NSN), and exploring pathways into government and humanitarian supply channels.

The next stage of growth requires more than capital. We are seeking strategic mentors, advisors, and industry partners who can help us navigate manufacturing, distribution, government procurement, and large-scale market expansion. We believe the right guidance and network can accelerate our ability to deliver this capability to the people and organizations that need it most.

In addition to my military leadership experience, I hold an MBA and bring an operationally grounded understanding of logistics, sustainment, leadership, and mission-focused product development. Our goal is not simply to build another outdoor product company. Our goal is to solve a real-world hygiene problem through practical innovation that improves quality of life in environments where cleanliness is often taken for granted.

Long term, we envision the SRU becoming a standard sustainment item for military forces, disaster response teams, and humanitarian organizations worldwide. If we can provide a service member with three hot meals a day anywhere on earth, we believe we should also provide them with a practical way to maintain their personal hygiene.

I would welcome the opportunity to share our business plan, manufacturing strategy, sales approach, and investor presentation with individuals, organizations, and partners interested in helping us scale this vision.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
