The Original Bicep Board - Seeking Funding for Initial Inventory and Marketing

Company Overview:

Our company leverages scientific principles to develop innovative fitness products that maximize hypertrophy and training effectiveness. We design, engineer and manufacture our own products. We are currently ready to begin production of our first, flagship product.

We are currently ready to begin production and are seeking funding for initial inventory and marketing. We recently purchased the product’s production molds and have two pending United States Patents (Provisional Utility & Design).

Product Overview:

Our new product, “The Original Bicep Board” (and multi-use adapter) effectiveness is well grounded in a bicep training exercise called the “waiters curl”. The exercise is performed by placing the inner, flat side, of a dumbbell on top of the hands, while maintaining the wrists in a bent forward position away from the body.

The Bicep Board de-emphasizes the involvement of the forearm muscles and places very direct and continuous tension on the biceps throughout the exercise. The dumbbell is raised by pressing the palms upwards while keeping the top, flat side, of the dumbbell parallel to the ground, ensuring consistent supination. While the waiters curl is a great exercise, the Bicep Board greatly improves this movement by offering a more comfortable and secure grip, variable hand positioning, and a variety of resistance options: Single dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, cable machines, and Olympic plates. The Bicep Board also has nice versatility and can be used to train triceps, back, and chest.

The Bicep Board’s effectiveness has been validated by numerous professional bodybuilders and personal trainers and was recently featured on Mark Bell’s Power Project podcast.

“I’ve been training for 20+ years and the Bicep Board is one of the most innovative and effective fitness products I’ve used. It definitely provides the most continuous bicep tension and hardest pump when compared to any other bicep exercise. I can see the Bicep Board becoming as ubiquitous in the gym as a barbell.”  Tony Esposti, National-Level Competitive Bodybuilder

Market Placement:

At an MSRP of $39.99, the Bicep Board will be well positioned to compete in the retail fitness product market. We intend on pursuing retail sales in both online and brick and mortar sporting goods stores to include commercial gyms. The fitness equipment market (brand & product awareness) is heavily driven by social media platforms and we intend on utilizing professional trainers and bodybuilders to help drive our sales. We are currently finalizing agreements with several professional bodybuilders and trainers for this purpose. We also intend on driving direct sales.

We believe that the Bicep Board will be very attractive to retailers and offers a 50% sales margin. The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused a huge surge in fitness equipment sales have increased over 170% since its beginning. Many retailers are currently sold out of many of their products.

Our Bicep Board production costs offer very good profit margins with room for discounting.
