The One-on-One Basketball Tournament

The One-on-One Basketball Tournament will feature 32 professional basketball players competing over five days for $1M in prize money. The Tournament will be nationally televised and featured in SLAM Media with an audience of over 6 million target demographic consumers in the US. Each matchup will be a best of three games played to 35. The Tournament will be played in September of this year. 

We have already received commitments from many players including six former NBA Champions, multiple all-star selections, two NBA 6th Man of the Year award winners, and more.

We have put together a solid team that includes:

Andrew Lowe (Myself)- President/CEO

I’ve owned and operated my own companies for the last 8 years and have helped run several NBA player camps and training programs.

Damian Martinez- Vice President/COO

Damian spent the better part of the last 5 years as the head of HR and Finance helping grow Slingshot from a startup into a full-fledged business.

Kareem Rush- Director of Talent Acquisition

Kareem is a former NBA and current BIG3 player and knows the agents and players we need to make this tournament a success.

Mark Taffet- National PPV Liaison

Mark was instrumental in creating the boxing PPV model while an executive at HBO and oversaw more than 190 HBO PPV events, which generated 65 million buys and $3.6 billion in PPV revenue.

Our current projections for this year are over $13.25M in revenue just from our domestic PPV sales and we plan to buy out our investors within 5 years.

We are seeking $3M for 30% of our company to pay the player base fees and prize money, hire 3 new full-time employees, fund our national marketing and advertising campaigns, and for general working capital.
