The Homestead is a destination-driven café and emerging full-service restaurant located at the base of the Sandia Peak Tramway—Albuquerque’s #1 tourist attraction. We combine a high-traffic location with a warm, community-focused brand to serve both a loyal local customer base and a steady flow of visitors year-round. Our business model is built around counter service with strong margins, now expanding into a full restaurant and bar to increase average ticket size, extend length of stay, and drive evening revenue.
Our menu blends New Mexico–inspired comfort food with an elevated but approachable style, featuring items like green chile-forward dishes, specialty sandwiches, house-made desserts, and a robust coffee and beverage program. With the addition of a full bar, we are creating a day-to-night experience—coffee and breakfast in the morning, casual lunch and gatherings mid-day, and destination dinners and drinks in the evening. Signature offerings and seasonal specials keep the menu dynamic while maintaining operational simplicity.
Our customers include a mix of locals who return for consistency, hospitality, and atmosphere, as well as tourists visiting the Tram who are looking for a memorable dining experience with one of the best views in Albuquerque. We intentionally design the space and menu to appeal to both—welcoming, accessible, and high-quality without being overly formal.
