I have recently relocated to the Grove, Oklahoma area, where oak trees are abundant. I've initiated The Great Northern Firewood Co., specializing in the sale of Solar Kiln Dried Pure Oak Mini Firewood on platforms such as Ebay, Amazon, Walmart, and Home Depot. Our product is pest-free and boasts low moisture levels, making it ideal for small Personal Tabletop Smokeless Firewood Stoves, Outdoor Pits, and Pizza Ovens like the East Oak, Solo, Breeo, Eddie Bauer, Star Fire, and many more.
In response to the demand for pre-made products sourced reliably, Most all our wood is harvested from powerline removals, where there is no alternative. I've made a substantial investment, exceeding $100K, which includes a Solar Kiln, envisioning a highly lucrative business based on a comparative analysis of monthly revenues from Amazon among 10 competitors. Currently, I'm advertising in the USA and Canada, with plans to expand to international sales. In addition to Mini Firewood, we offer products like Firestarter and Firestarter Pods, which are lightweight and universally accepted. Our Mini Firewood is available in 10lb to 30lb boxes, ranging in dimensions from 3'Lx1'W to 12"L x 2'W.
More products, such as Swedish Fire logs and Artisan Wooden beer and wine Mugs, are in the pipeline. Any product we can competently and with quality produce out of wood and soy wax will be considered. While we do have local sales, our primary focus is on internet sales.
About me: I was born on 3-27-1959 and have been involved in tree work since the age of 14. I became a Certified Arborist in 1990 and a Licensed Contractor a month later, maintaining both certifications for over 30 years until my move to N.E. Oklahoma. The Great Northern Firewood Co. operates as a DBA of Roley's Tree Care LLC, where I was the 100% owner until I turned it into an LLC. The Tree Co. provides both firewood and some working capital. At present, I have three other tree companies supplying me firewood, and I'm fully invested to ensure the success of both companies, which function side by side.
I'm seeking an Angel Investor to invest with a percentage of ownership stake, aiming to reach a minimum of 1 million. A goal of 2 or 3 million within a 2-4 year timeframe is feasible. I have both indoor and outdoor work facilities. If an investor prefers to invest only in the Firewood Business, it could be established as a separate LLC instead of a DBA.
My belief in this venture stems from stumbling upon Youtubers investigating a similar business model when I moved to N.E. Oklahoma. Surrounded by abundant White and Red Oak, which locals often disrespect, I recognized the universal scarcity of Oak wood. While a cord of split oak firewood not seasoned sells for $150, after one to two weeks of Solar Kiln drying, cutting, and boxing, the same cord sells for over $10K on the internet. With my current capacity of one kiln, I can generate $300K a year, and I have the potential to increase the number of solar kilns to at least four on my 3.5-acre property.
