Problem & Solution
Currently, there is a lack of indoor training facilities for softball and baseball in the Town of Little Elm. This poses a challenge for softball and baseball parents and teams, particularly during hot summer days and cold winter nights. The limited options available for practice and training forces them to seek facilities outside the town limits, which can be both expensive and lacking in climate control. We want to help foster community athletes to be the best they can and provide them with a safe place to train.
Our Solution
Offer an indoor, climate controlled facility at affordable rates. The Facilitee, LLC will have between six (6) and nine (9) 52x11 lanes for hitting and pitching and that can be converted into two separate group spaces, perfect for individual or team practices. Some lanes will include speed radars to track athletes' development and progress. Future plans for instructor-led essons and clinics will also be offered. Ever wanted to try training tools but didn't want to spend the money, only to return the product? The Facilitee is partnering with top manufacturers to provide a "try before you buy" products program. Membership programs will also be an offering at the Facilitee.
Target Market
The Facilitee aims to establish partnerships with LEYSA (Little Elm Youth Sports Association) and local schools to enhance and foster local interest in softball and baseball. Our facility will cater to individuals at all skill levels, from beginners in tee-ball, to experienced high school players. By collaborating with LEYSA, we can tap into a market that includes six different age groups for softball and baseball, comprising more than 60 teams, each with 9-12 players each. This presents a significant untapped opportunity for our business. This does not include the local and surrounding area travel-ball teams and families that do not play in the city's league.
Competitors
Current Alternatives:
Little Elm currently has no competition when it comes to indoor baseball and softball training facilities. The only other facility in the area is The Woodshed, located 7 miles away in the neighboring city of Frisco. With a The Facilitee, LLC population of over 55,000 residents, The Facilitee can support the local demand without guests needing to
commute outside the city. There are other options approximately 17-20 miles outside the town, however Little Elm remains an underserved market locally. Our location would provide a more convenient option for local families seeking indoor training. We will have an opportunity to establish ourselves in this market with minimal direct competition. While there are some alternatives regionally, our focus will be to serve the local Little Elm community, while building a presence in the surrounding areas. This will allow us to tailor and focus our services and clinics specifically for area altheletes and families and later drive business from across a wider service area. We can become the premier local option through community involvement and partnerships with area little leagues and high schools.

Our hands-on, personalized approach combined with our community focus and expanded offerings provide
integrated training options that set us apart from other facilities. We strive to help each athlete reach their
full potential in the sport.
