Basic Project Pitch/Description
I am a clinical psychologist and nonprofit CEO, seeking to raise money to develop an evidence based, deep mind healing app, that will maximize the impact of therapeutic and coaching work with clients in private practice. In the nonprofit sector, my work is with human trafficking survivors (clinical, advocacy, and research), and I want to get the app developed to help survivors mentally/emotionally heal, so overall global recidivism rates are reduced, and survivors are finally free to get their lives back, or perhaps really live for the first time.
App Pitch
This app has the potential to revolutionize the therapy and coaching industries, in that it will combine 2 alternative healing practices, embedded in music and vibrational sound tracks, that will help rewrite/recode negative self and life beliefs and negatives impacts of trauma at the subconscious level, so that the focus of the conscious mind (the conscious coaching or therapy work that people are doing) and the subconscious mind are aligned, and people are empowered to realize their goals of healing, or improving their self-esteem, losing weight, being more successful in their careers, finding fulfillment in relationships, manifesting financial abundance, etc. much more quickly and effectively. The program used in these audio tracks will bypass negative thinking, reprogram subconscious blocks, and shift people's consciousness at an energetic level, beyond habitual thought patterns, doubts, fears, and defenses. For survivors of complex trauma, the potential effects could be extraordinary. We have a chance to create a platform for deep healing at a global level.
Bio
I am a clinical psychologist, healer, author and professor. I am also a survivor of complex trauma myself. I am fully committed to the success of this app, as I believe it will be a cornerstone of leveling up the research and healing work I do in/provide to our world. I am passionate about helping people heal and become the best versions of themselves--live their best lives. I also work very hard, I do a lot of advocacy and public speaking work, I have 2 books that I am currently working on, and I am a professor to graduate students. My entire life is about being a conduit of healing, activism, love, and hope in this world. I also have extensive expertise and experience in doing clinical, therapeutic work with a wide range of clients, in varied cultural and socio-economic settings, for 25 years. I have seen and experienced great success with the healing modalities that will be central to the tracks on this app, and I have every confidence that the unique combination of evidence based therapeutic tools, user friendliness of the product, and a well strategized marketing plan, will set this app apart from the other mental health apps in the market today. This app will combine what therapy, energy frequency, and subliminal messaging apps offer separately, in one, thoughtfully designed, evidence based, powerfully effective form.
Psychology, Mental Health Apps, Metal Wellness/Therapy: Market Size, Expansion Facts and Figures, U.S. and Global
1. The global wellness economy can now add mental wellness, a rapidly expanding $121 billion market, to its $4.5 trillion overall valuation, according to the
Global Wellness Institute. (Rider, 2020)
2. The global psychologists market was valued at $39.8 billion in 2017. North America was the largest geographic region accounting for $19.1 billion or 0.4% of the global market. And the USA was the largest country accounting for $15.9 billion or 0.4% of the global psychologist market.
Increased use of online therapy and wellness-based mobile applications has led the field of mental health to follow the path of physical health initiatives, in the design of more accessible and convenient platforms. This is called virtual mental health treatment.
Online programs, such as MassMen.org, allow users to remain anonymous, a feature that was not possible before. This may encourage those less likely to seek help to address their mental health concerns. (Cision PR Wire, 12/10/18)
3. The global mental health app market size accounted for US$ 586,9 million in 2018and, with its expected growth rate of 23,7%, is estimated to generate a revenue of US$3,918.40 million by the end of 2027. (Szota, 2021 from Tooploox)
4. Even the APA recognizes the growth and effectiveness of mental health apps: That is why the American Psychiatric Association
(APA) is working on developing such an app rating system, which would provide assessment guidelines for the efficacy and risks of mental health apps. (Szota, 2021 from Tooploox)
