The Carefree Cakery

The Carefree Cakery is a Moncton based cake shop offering traditional cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts -including Gluten free and Vegan offerings. In all things, our focus is FLAVOUR!
Our service cases boast a daily offering of 40 cupcake varieties, with additional flavours rotated seasonally. 

With over 20 years in the baking industry, I have a wealth of experience in sales, baking, decorating, managing, and training bakers, cake decorators and customer service staff.  Our customer experience manager has unmatched customer service, as well as a strong background in sales and marketing, while our production team has worked closely with me over the last two years to deliver high quality products. 

Since starting the Carefree Cakery as a home business in 2019,  we have  produced a catalog of cake and cupcake offerings that customers could purchase on a whim, as well as custom orders and wedding cakes; with the mission of bringing joy into peoples lives. What doesn't say "joy" like cake?
In 2020,  bringing joy was high in demand when the pandemic hit, and with some quick adaptation, this was one of the best things to happen to our business.  Our customers shared joy all over greater Moncton,  as we delivered our catalog of cakes and cupcakes to our customers' friends and family, when they couldn't be there themselves. 
This was the beginning of a major growth period for us, and by the summer of 2021, it was determined, that we would open a store front, which opened in December of 2021. 

Our first full year of operation in our brick and mortar showed a 350% increase with steady gains in each year to follow. We began selling our products in a wholesale capacity in 2023. 

With a few solid years in our store front behind us, and the demand for our Catalog products at an all time high, we believe now is the time to streamline what services we provide. By removing custom orders from our offerings,  we can expand our products into larger wholesale opportunities and consider additional locations. With this funding, we can improve cashflow, increase personnel and maximize production to service higher volume accounts. 
I believe there is unlimited potential for this business in Eastern Canada as well as the rest of the Canadian market.
