TGA Productions creates positive and inspirational print, digital media, and film projects.  (tgaproductions.org).  The first film, Of Things Past, was released in 2023 and is streaming in the US and internationally on Amazon Prime and all major VOD platforms. It is distributed by Lion Heart Distribution and ScreenBound.  It is translated from English to Spanish and Portuguese.  The current project is a feature film based on a true story, Harold's Story - A Journey of Uncommon Healing, a book Dr. Sam Mayhugh published in 2019, with co-writer D. Paul Thomas. The script, titled Mr. Unknown, was written by Dr. Mayhugh, D.Paul Thomas and Wendell Wellman.  The film takes us on Harold's journey of the mind. It is an odyssey from darkness and despair to the light and hope of a new day. We see Harold's life through dramatic scenes of emotional and physical trauma, a life of crime, Sing Sing prison, a broken marriage, and psychiatric hospitals. The abuse of his past,  a decade of confinement, and fear of the mafia took their psychological toll. His movement from a life of darkness to the light evidences an uncommon healing, including a walk-in recovery fellowship, a caring psychologist, a friend's spiritual message and music from the orphanage  Sunday school to a large church choir. The film is troubling, but inspiring. The path of forgiveness, healing and serving others is an exciting and uplifting journey available to anyone in darkness. The goal is to bring hope for healing, restoration and transformation for viewers.
Pre-production is underway with Dr. Mayhugh as Executive Producer/writer, Dan T. Hall, Co-Director/Line Producer, D.Paul Thomas, Co-Director/writer/producer, Wendell Wellman, writer/producer, Fred Paddock, Director Photography, Amanuel Zarzowski, Composer, and Nora Betancourt, Executive Producer.
The filming is scheduled for Fall, 2026, in Indiana, to be released in mid 2027.  The film is fiscally sponsored by From the Heart Productions, a 501(c)(3), for charitable contributions and funding is also available through for profit shares. Screen credits are available for donors and investors.
