EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Sweet Fingers is a Jamaican-themed restaurant and bar in Oakland California that offers a unique authentic dining experience to a community desiring revitalization and inspiration.
Sweet Fingers, Oakland is our Flagship Restaurant.  Our restaurant is duplicable, and it is our intentions to create a Franchise.  Our restaurant has already proven its viability and the brand has "sticking" power.  We were open for 13 years in the East Bay and before the neighboring business caught fire that spread to our business.   Before this happened in 2019 the popularity of Sweet Fingers was attracting regular customers like Stephen Curry and his family.

What sets Sweet Fingers apart from other Caribbean restaurants and why our restaurant is uniquely positioned to do well as a Franchise.

1.    Proprietary Sweet Fingers Seasoning Blend- This Secret Season Blend is
written and kept in a Bank Vault.

2.    Methodology of prepping and cooking-

3.    Fresh/Quality Ingredients-

5.    Brand Recognition- Due to the amount of time Sweet Fingers has been providing Award Winning Food to its customers and a Unique easily recognizable Logo our brand is solid.

6.    Loyal Customers- Even though we have been closed for 2 years due to the fire and Pandemic our customers have not forgotten us.  Everyone is patiently waiting for our Grand Re-opening!  The city of Oakland is so excited about Sweet Fingers.  Everyone on this project has been moving mountains to make this happen.  We are very close to the finish line.

8.    Chef Clive Autobiographical Sweet Fingers Cookbook- All of the Recipes will be published and copy written.  The Book is a composition of some of Chef Clives' memories and anecdotes that are associated with his award-winning recipes. Key point- in order to create these dishes at home one will also need to purchase our special blend seasoning.

9.    Look and feel of the restaurant- Colors, logo very marketable and part of the brand.

 10. Signature drinks- We have a full liquor license and bar and unique Caribbean specialty drinks.

11. Service- Casual Dine in, Take Out and Delivery- Fresh quality food without the long wait. The restaurant business has evolved, and we have modified our business model to reflect those changes.

Sweet Fingers has always maintained loyal and repeat customers.  The atmosphere is inviting and authentic and we have a culinary trained award-winning Jamaican Chef (Chef Clive Barnes).  We have won “Best of the Bay” Awards and Nightlines’ The Peoples Plate list Award and have a full bar with signature Caribbean cocktails.  We also have many Celebrity Customers that eat at our restaurant.  Several famous reggae music artists, Raiders Football team, Steph Curry and the Warriors are our regular customers.  Our brand and name recognition are strong and has reached international awareness.  We use only quality ingredients and actually get our raw seasoning ingredients shipped from Jamaica that are blended exclusively in house.

We began our restaurant humbly with $50k and after 13 years of business we were a strong and profiting restaurant with an excellent reputation and an exciting future in the year 2019, when we were unexpectedly closed by a neighboring business catching fire and spreading to our restaurant.  The year 2020 was impacted by the pandemic.  The great news is that we are blessed to have a new location in Oakland that has been built out with a 1.2-million-dollar investment from our insurance company and the city of Oakland.  Now we are looking to open November 19 with sufficient working capital to ensure our continued success.  We are excited about this opportunity and our customers are eager for us to re-open!  We are looking for an investor that can invest a minimum of $300k as working capital.

“Location, location, location”. The new location is awesome.  Sweet Fingers is the crown jewel building of the shopping center located at the busy corner of Seminary and Foothill.  We are excited about this opportunity to take our beautiful sustainable restaurant to the “Next” level.
