Sweep Construction

I run a small commercial construction company in Albuquerque, NM.  I bought the business in 2016 and have enjoyed a great amount of growth.  We have multiple Job Order Contracts with the University hospital, the University school, some state entities as well as a state wide pricing agreement for the State of New Mexico.  I am a Woman, I have my GB-98.  I run my business a bit differently compared to my industry peers.  I lead through incentive and positivity.  I treat my customers exactly as that, customers.  We are a customer service based company.  I pride myself and my company on being easily approachable, easy to work with flexible and solution driven.  This gives our customers piece of mind in the fact that not only can we deliver the results that they are looking for but we make the process easier and Sweep Construction provides help along the way.  My company has a strong safety back ground. I started in construction safety in 2012.  I currently hold a Safety, Health and Environmental Professional certification through the University of Texas at Arlington and I am also an authorized OSHA 10 and 30 hour instructor in the Construction Industry.   Last year I was a keynote speaker at the Women in Construction event here in New Mexico and I currently sit on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Association of General Contractors.  I love what I do and I can see that our growth could continue exponentially but we are currently hindered by cashflow.  If we had an investment I could make the necessary additions to the team, the equipment, the shop that we would need to perform the jobs in the next higher tier instead of staying below the $500k limit.  I have a great deal of optimism for my company, we have an excellent team with a variety of skills, knowledge and expertise.  I know we can do great things here in New Mexico.
