Swaby

My clothing brand, Swaby, has been in business for over 22 years. I need either a business partner or investor to expand to a wider audience.
I've been honing my sewing and clothing design skills since my childhood, inspired by my mother while growing up in Jamaica. My journey led me to open my first store in Toronto, and soon expanded to Chicago, where I now proudly operate two stores. My talent caught the attention of the fashion world, and I was even featured on Project Runway, while my creations graced the pages of numerous magazines. Participating in various fashion and trade shows further fueled my passion.

Now, I'm at a pivotal point in my career where I aspire to expand and take Swaby to the fashion capital, New York. To make this dream a reality, I initiated a successful Kickstarter fundraiser a few months ago to secure funds for essential marketing campaigns. With this initial success, I'm now on a mission to raise the necessary funds to open a New York City location, where I can continue to grow and make a difference in the fashion industry.

What sets Swaby apart from the majority of fashion brands out there is that we offer FREE alterations for the life of all garments and accessories. Everything that Swaby designs and creates is customizable. Swaby allows customers to choose colors, fabrics, necklines, and even add pockets and sleeves to garments of choice. We offer free tailoring in pursuit of that perfect fit for each customers unique body and style. This is our way of practicing sustainable fashion within our industry. We always encourage our customers to get the most use of their garments and when they want to retire them, bring them back to us so that we can turn them into blankets for homeless shelters. 

I truly believe in the success of Swaby, my customers have kept me in business and have remained loyal throughout the years, but it is time to reach a wider audience and I know Swaby has a place in New York.
