Founded with the passion for moving dirt and snow with efficiency in mind, Superior Land Prep and Snow removal, LLC., is now proudly offering our services to all homeowners, property owners, general contractors and building entities in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Having worked for a large-scale construction company for nearly half his life, Tim has a full understanding and awareness of costs, timeframes and job-site work flows that must correlate correctly to achieve the desired result in the least amount of time.

Tim has been prepping dirt and plowing snow in the Marquette County area for 23 years and has a deep-rooted understanding of the lay of the land and can envision the challenges that come with digging long before he has even touched the dirt. He started as a laborer at the age of 18 and worked his way up to the operator of the heavy equipment. The past few years at his last place of employment he found himself being the one in charge of job site activities. That is when he decided to branch out on his own.
Company Goals and Objectives:
The company’s goal is to provide the public sector an affordable option to create or remove large items or projects from their property. To assist these folks with large to them projects that are too small for bigger construction companies. This is company will stay small so we can pay attention to those small details.
Founders, Formation History and Legal Entity:
Superior Land Prep and Snow Removal, LLC is a limited liability company. Although the company was legally founded by Timothy Johnson 09/26/2022, it has been a dream of his for over a decade. Tim plans to make sure the company and himself are completed licensed and insured.
Target Market:
The company will most likely appeal to a wide range of people, but we plan to target new home and property owners who have achieved financial security. We will market towards the types of projects that will increase the owner’s property value but is not technically something that is necessary. Cosmetic projects or projects to increase functional ability of the space.

• Job site clean-up-removal of construction materials with haul to dump and leveling of land with grass seed and straw.
• Site restoration- grading, water control, topsoil, grass seed and mulch
• Concrete replacement- removal and haul away of old concrete. Prep and pour new if needed. Or Asphalt.
• Driveway or Camp road- road building and regrading. Install gates.
• Erosion control- rip rap, culvert, and storm pipe installation,
• Water control- French drain, drain tile and ditching. Fix washouts
• Pond dredging and creek bank rehab.
• Water/Sewer system- Septic tank, drain fields, and water/sewer pipe. Or replacements of old.
• Yard spring or fall cleanup- Tree, tree stump, removal, and haul away. Willing to help mow the grass and do some yard work.
• Demo of buildings.
• New Home construction- augur holes 6”-36” building piers/ fence post, back fill or dig out basements. Load or unload trucks with forks on skid steer.
• Haul- anything to you or away from your property up to 12,000 pounds.
• Snow plowing, shoveling, salt/sand. Snow blower attached to Skid steer.
• Operator for Hire-
you rent a machine, or You rent Skid-steer with operator.

We desperately need working capital and advertising. We love to hire help. We need to hire an accountant and tax professional. We need to do maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
We can't get work if people don't know we are here.
There is a Builders Show in the town next to us in March. The cost to register is $700 for a 12x12 ft space and up from that.
We would love to purchase signage for in front of the shop and for on the companies vehicle. If we are in the Show then I would like to purchase pens, magnets, rack cards etc.
As a start up company we are going based on word of mouth right now. We are barely making enough to cover our bills both personal and business related. We have put everything we have into this company and have nothing left to fund advertising. We have applied for capital and have been denied at every financial initiation locally and online.
