I have a new patented blend of esters that assist in minimizing SOx’s in the Coal-fired flue gases. My patented was issued in 2013 and my business includes a trade-secret protected delivery system. The delivery system will be leased for 10 years and controlled and monitored through an internet server.

The wave of our transportation future is Electric Vehicle's. The elephant in the garage is generating cleaner electricity. I have a method of removing up to 35% of the SOx from the power plant emissions. The cost is about $ 3.60 per ton of Coal without complicating the emission picture. My process does not introduce any new hazards since my product is 'clean'. One unintended consequence is the minimization of H2SO4 (Sulfuric Acid Rain)
My Patent Date + Publishing 6/01/2013 Cost $ 38,324
Test Laboratory will record all of the byproducts and their percentages 84,286
Blend of 2 Esters that reduce 35% of SOx from Coal Flue Gases. The Ester’s are burned
with the Coal and resultant byproducts which do not include SO2 or SO3.

The problems that the ‘new’ technology of EV’S require charging of batteries. All of the units involved with transportation or heating and cooling still have no alternatives for generating the life blood of the process. Solar Panels can produce electricity only when the sun is shining and one huge problem associated with Solar Panels, the panels contain hazardous materials with a usable life of 10 to 12 years. Wind Turbines require wind and the wind turbine process environmentally currently require electricity to be generated by normal power systems to accommodate lack of wind and out-of-service wind turbines.

Market Size: The market for my product is large since China currently has 600 coal-fired power plants on their construction schedule. Many of those plants are under construction since the need is already established now. The second area with similar established requirements is India with 100 coal-fired power plants being constructed now. The programs in smaller regions are established but will require different scheduling but will not minimize the opportunities. These situations will offer the opportunity to assemble a storage unit outfitted with the necessary equipment to upgrade plant sites for the proper installation of our delivery systems. The limiting factor will be the access to qualified ‘pipe-fitters’ but the salary level of those ‘pipe-fitters’ should solve that problem. As already stated, overall many of the upgrades as well as new items in the power business have been related to power storage and not in generation side. The EV business is limited by the need for power generation rather than storage. My product allows for using the only acceptable means to generate that electricity. Until a new method of making that electricity, this process will solve the immediate problem.

Dear Dick,
I met Patrick A. for lunch last week and he updated your progress on the first mini-refinery. I have some questions on that mini-refinery. Where that first mini-refinery is located and is the outputs of that refinery in the expected promised range. I’m currently involved with an ‘angel investor’ to complete the next steps to get my organization beyond the planning stages. In my previous sales calls to sell my product, the questions that made up the bulk of client’s inquiries revolved around where the SOx was deposited after removal from the flue gases. In my search with my list of accepted chemists, that information seems to be the ‘sixty-four thousand dollar’ question. During my testing in the ‘pilot kiln’ accomplished in 2011, the analysis of the results only proved that there was 37% less SOx present in the exhaust gases. The monitor equipment only notes the resultant gases that are currently measured for the EPA. I believe the missing SOx combines with the esters to form a new compound that either is exhausted in the flue gases or produces a byproduct that leaves the chemical reaction as ‘waste’. In the ‘pilot’ kiln the’ waste’ could be in the cement produced during the process. My patent product is added in a ratio of 1 ounce for 10 gallons of fuel or 7 ounces for 1 ton of Coal. The only change for testing comes from substituting one carbon based fuel for a different carbon based fuel. The test facility I have contacted for analysis of byproducts can complete a total breakdown of the chemical reaction. With that information from the test facility, I’ll know the location of all the byproducts and their chemical makeup. I’m sure that information is superfluous to you since your emission equipment does not monitor many of the associated chemicals. Your output of SOx from the blending process in your chemical reaction of making fuel will be instrumental to narrow the choices at the test facility. I need that information to ascertain that the test facility will be able to determine the exact components and their percentages. This whole process is very difficult since test facilities that can provide this information are few and far between. I’ve found only two in the US and a long waiting list for each of them. Your mini-refinery system relies on processes already tested and able to meet current emission standards. The process in question involves burning of Coal rather than Gasoline or Diesel fuel. After determining a conversion factor between Coal and Gasoline or Diesel Fuel the results should be comparable since their all hydrocarbon based. That was the result I found during my testing. Please give me a call to provide the information I need. Thank you
Sincerely,
Robert Brandt

Updates on marketing my patent is progressing and we're finalizing the prospectus. Our world seems to be on its ear and opportunities abound for the benefits of my patent to the world emission environment.

Current efforts to determine a proper marking chemical to limit reverse-engineering of my patent ingredients. Protection of formula controls generation of my additive to the burned byproducts. Progress is going slowly and several companies are working on the project for me
