Growth opportunity: encouraging and equipping people to keep bees naturally.
I teach and equip people to practice natural beekeeping. The business activities are multi-faceted:
1) Education: I create social media content to encourage and teach natural beekeeping in Layens horizontal hives, and I am monetized on YouTube and Facebook. I have also spoken at various events in multiple states. My goal is to offer in-person seminars when I can free up time currently spent on manufacturing.
2) Manufacturing: The hive equipment and methods I use are a niche area, so I build hives and frames to meet a growing demand as more people become interested in a less labor-intensive, more natural way of keeping bees.
3) Sales: Products are sold through the website suburbansodbuster.com and shipped throughout the US and Canada. In-person sales also happen at events, primarily targeting the "homesteading" community.
