Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy, Inc

We are a non-profit organization in Londonderry, NH providing pediatric PT, OT, ST services. In addition to providing  high quality, therapy services using licensed physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, speech language pathologists and speech language assistants, we support the family and caregivers, offering groups, respite services, trainings and networking opportunities for caregivers.  There is a severe shortage of pediatric therapy services in NH and the existing clinics often have waiting lists with 3-6 month waits.  In order to serve children who are in need of services efficiently and ensure that all children are able to receive services they need at our clinic, when we established our clinic, we decided to accept all insurances and keep our private pay rates as low as possible to still cover our costs.  Unfortunately, given the Change Healthcare data breach and staffing issues at insurance companies, the credentialing process has been very slow as has reimbursement.  The need for services has continued to increase locally however and since our primary purpose in creating this program is to ensure that all children with disabilities and their families can access the services they need, we are providing services to children and waiting sometimes upwards of 3 months to receive reimbursement.  As part of our mission, we have scholarship funds available to help families who cannot afford services or who need additional services beyond what insurance will cover.  Due to the significant delay in reimbursement, we have not been able to grow our scholarship fund; this is causing families to stop therapy services or reduce the frequency of therapy services.  
Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy strives to meet the needs of children, teens and young adults with disabilities, developmental delays, chronic healthcare needs and/or acute rehabilitative needs.  Our therapy services may include the use of a variety of therapy techniques, intensive weeks of therapy, participation in group or community activities in order to provide individualized programs for clients that best meet the needs of each family.  Our therapists work with patients and their families, together finding the best options to reach their potentials.  We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services, utilizing flexible, individualized plans.   Therapists work together with our children, youth, young adults and families, to provide flexible, individualized services that best serve each individual situation.  In addition, we work hard to provide caregivers with support, including providing respite care, trainings and networking opportunities in order to empower families.
