I have a patent for a steam operated shopping cart sanatizer. I need to build a prototype, test for effectiveness, create the IP necessary to market the product. There are several models out now that all use chemical sanatizers. These create issues with runoff collection and involve the EPA , making them expensive to install and operate. My design idea uses steam generated by regular tap water, with none of the issues the others present. There are different applications/models available. This unit can be installed as a permanent fixture outside cart entrance vestibules at major grocery outlets and big box stores, but can also be built for transport in a box truck or cargo trailer. This opens up the possibility for franchise business to travel to smaller stores weekly with fewer carts to sanitize, similar to lawn care companies.
