Our company is expected to reach a net-zero carbon footprint quickly. We can maintain reliable growth periods throughout the seasons. We also work to eliminate the need for foreign produce imports during the off-season, reducing the overall carbon footprint of the produce sector. Our methods allows us to grow crops vertically, maximizing the yield per square foot in a way that traditional methods cannot compete. We don't have to use the arable farm land used for traditional farming in order to be productive - industrial land is sufficient. Over the last 40 years, the world has lost 30% of the arable land.
Our company will plant, grow and harvest produce in our vertical farming facilities, then conduct B2B transactions, primarily with retail chains, to send our product to the end consumer. Our management team has already begun talks with large, Canada-wide retail chains. Many trials were conducted to perfect the growth period and acquire accurate growth figures for the produce. Numerous crops have already been grown in our facility. The technology needed is fully developed and ready for scaling up. In order to be successful in the scale-up, we need an influx of liquid capital in order to achieve our commercial invoicing goal and transition to a cashflow positive stage of our operations.
