Our invention is a table that hotels/resorts and others would use by their pools. The table has built in solar power/battery storage and charging ports so guests can keep their devices charged while relaxing at the pool. When people relaxing at the resort pool, most of them are often on their device....and everyone eventually needs a charge. So, they go looking for that one outlet by the speaker and a tree to plug in their phone, or kids iPad only to find that's already been found. Next, they go to the bar, where the bartender agrees to charge the phone, after the two ahead of yours! So, kit's leave the phone or go back to the room.

Website password is provided upon request. These tables can actually become profit centers for hotels when we sell them branded charging cables (on a subscription) that they turn and sell to guests, keeping inventory at the pool bars, towel stations, restaurants, gift shops, in-room, etc....
We have invested 20k or so to get the patent pending and some other materials, mostly through Inventhelp. company, We need 150k to get to factory tooling/prototype, and have sourced a reputable company out of San Diego called BOM Quote Manufacturing that can see this through.
We currently own and operate a very successful soft serve ice cream business, Mister Softee of Southern California, with 2 stores and 7 trucks, and a store in Santa Barbara operating under a regional development agreement, owned by former employees of mine. We recently bought and remodeled industrial space for the company, and it's left us unable to make the investment needed to get the Solar Charging Resort Table off the ground.
Prior to starting my business, I worked for Guitar Center Inc. for 17 years in a multitude of roles, starting on the retail sales floor and working my way up to VP/Brand Manager of Retail & GC.COM. In between held I positions as District Sales Manager, Regional VP of Operations, VP of System Development, VP of Training & Leadership Development, & VP of Customer Experience. My Fiancé has an extensive sales background, working 25+ years for Bright Horizons selling Childcare Centers and Child Care Benefits to Large Employers/Fortune 500 Companies.
