We are a black-owned, 3 former college football teammates, Claude, Adrian and Jermaine, who decided to start a dog treat company in the middle of Covid. This idea came about because Adrian had started his own all-natural, holistic, pet food store called PetNMind. Jermaine and I loved the concept, decided to invest in his store to help franchise them and then we decided that we should create a line of healthy dog treats to have in every franchise and that is how small BIG Dog was born. I wasn't really able to do much with my medical sales job so I took it upon myself to start selling and marketing it and local farmers markets and events. We started to grow and then created our website (www.smallBIGDognaturals.com) and have been slowing growing from there.
So we have all-natural, healthy, human grade dog treats. They are free from fillers, dyes and chemicals. I created a new combo bowl which has a focus on dogs with short snouts, like frenchies, pugs, boston terriers, and other smaller breeds, but It is large enough to hold larger food amounts for bigger breeds. Helps to prevent nose fatigue. I also came up with some way cooler poop bag holders. haha Sounds funny but you will see.

With the human and pet industry paying close attention to what goes into their food, our customers are looking for healthier options but also want to be educated.
