My name is Mike Maness, I am a tattoo artist, designer and creator of one-of-a-kind products based in Boise, Idaho. Diamond plate, a design that has endured over a century, has, until now, faced no true competition. But today, that changes. I have attached images of our prototype for this newly patented design, which has already garnered substantial interest both domestically and internationally. I have been in contact with manufacturers across the globe, and I am pleased to inform you that I have identified a Chinese company capable of producing this product in aluminum sheet form at an attractive price point. The choice of aluminum 6061 as our starting material is deliberate, as it is a versatile choice for many applications.
Of course, we are aware of the existing plastic and rubber versions of diamond plate, but our unique approach, one that combines innovation and artistry, offers a fresh perspective on this classic design. To validate our concept, we showcased our prototype at the 2022 SEMA event, and the response was overwhelming, particularly from fabricators nationwide. According to SEMA, truck owners with vehicles from 2010 and onwards invested over $6 billion in aftermarket accessories in 2021- a testament to the thriving market potential. Our “Skulls design” has the potential to offer a stylish and distinctive alternative to the status quo, transforming products such as toolboxes, custom bumpers, floor mats, mud flaps, and side rails. Just imagine a “Jeep Wrangler skulls edition.”
