This enhances job satisfaction and reduces attrition rates. We are saving companies 60%+ in hiring risk and cost.
SkillSoniq launched in 2019 in New York and has grown 30% M-o-M in the last 12 months. In terms of our business model, we charge job-seekers a 15% commission on all payments made to them on our platform during the "trial" and we charge companies a one-time buyout fee for "converting" freelancers to their payroll. Our MRR has been roughly $25K, and we are looking to grow 10x to an ARR of $5M by 2022. $1 Trillion was spent on Skilled Freelancing in 2020, and the future of the workforce is "freelance." Our addressable market is $30B+ in the US and Canada, and $10B+ in India.
We have raised $200K in Seed Funding, including from senior management at Airbnb, Amazon and Goldman Sachs. We are looking to raise $1.5M in "Pre-Series A" to help us achieve escape velocity and rapidly increase our revenues to $5M at which point we plan to close on a Series A round of funding. Funds raised in this round will be used in scaling up our tech, sales and marketing workforce, launching an iOS and Android Native App, and in Ads.
