We offer an anti social-engineering cybersecurity service. It works by supporting users, not with technology but with fast, easy, and discreet access to due diligence on-call, for everyday transactions.
I am a licensed private investigator, with a private investigator sole-proprietor license to operate an agency in the province of Ontario. This means that I have been found sufficiently qualified and insured to conduct investigative work, in addition to the hiring and oversight of additional investigative staff. I also have focused, niche training in using the internet as a research tool for OSINT investigations (read: open source intelligence), and am an agency in good standing with the
Council of Professional Invesigators Ontario (CPIO).
My business model is additionally informed by fifteen years of work in community organizing and outreach at the grassroots level, non-profit governance at the BOD level with various organizations, and non-profit operations and relationship management (including contract negotiation and due-diligence). I operated a previous sole-proprietorship, offering public-facing event management services and consulting for the non-profit sector. The company was small but mighty, and ended with nothing but positive reviews (i.e. no outstanding debt).
We provide due diligence services that are accessible, affordable, and effective. We aim to prevent scams by enabling on-call access by the average person or household to the skills and technological awareness of a professional, licensed investigator. In addition to offering astute analysis of content in the context of social media and online commerce, the business model we need funding to develop will enable on-call access and the provision of user support, for due-diligence on interactions both on and offline, without interfering with the everyday conduct of legitimate transactions.
