Sher Produce Technologies

Hi, my name is Sherri and I am the founder of Sher Produce Technologies.
     We are a food manufacturer in Canada that makes a very unique product called a Sher Fruit and Veggie Square.   We have a patent process that blends  fresh fruits and veggies and protein to produce our Sher Squares.  Each Square has 1 full serving of fruits & veggies, 10 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber, 130 calories, no additives or preservatives, nut free and gluten free.  We started our company with 4 main goals:  1.  to provide healthy, nutrient dense food to ALL types of consumers, 2.  to feed undernourished, underpriveledged people in our communities through our Buy One, Feed One program, through Covid alone we fed 400,000 people in our own community,  3.  to use "ugly" fruit and vegetables which stops them from filling up landfills  4.  to provide opportunities for  underrepresented groups; examples, our production team is led by women and we have a group of intellectually challenged individuals working weekly in our plant.  Our team is led by myself, with my MSc and nutrition background, I have created a completely innovative way to eat fruits and vegetables and provide balanced nutrition.  My partner has worked for Fortune 500 companies in the food industry for over 30 years in both Canada and the US.
     Currently we are producing a 4-pack retail package that can be found in a number of chains  and independent stores in Ontario (and soon other provinces).  We have five different flavor blends that are sold in the produce section of retail stores as we are 93% fresh fruits and vegetables.  We are now moving into a second revenue stream, Food Service, which includes C&G channels and any where single serve options are available (ie universities, schools, healthcare, airports, gas stations, cafes and gyms).   Funding  is now needed to help with capital costs such as a new equipment, increased freezer space,  working capital and marketing.  We are in the que for testing  with a very large coffee chain based out of the USA and excited about the opportunities  in North America and abroad.
     We are very excited to be able to share our unique Sher Squares,  they are  enjoyed by people of all ages and stages and it really is just fruits and veggies!
