At Shadow Park we produce independent films in the horror, comedy, and action genre. We have already started with music videos and short films but will ultimately be producing low budget, high quality, feature films. We are aiming to start production on our first feature film in early 2023. I have already raised 20K to produce a short film which has been getting some attention from investors interested in the feature film version. We have already attached quality talent to this short film and we will use it as a proof-of-concept for the feature. The film is a horror comedy titled The Vampire Machine, and is targeted at the 20 to 35 yo demographic. After our first feature is produced, we will start optioning smaller IP to find more feature film content that can be produced in the same price range.
As a director/writer, I have had my films screened at film festivals all over the world, including the upcoming ComicCon International in San Diego. I am also on a panel at ComicCon with the producers of the original Ninja Turtles Franchise, as we are looking to develop a screenplay I wrote into a limited series. Since graduating USC with my MFA in film production, I have had meetings at Warner Bros, Sony, and many independent studios about directing, but they all want to see my first feature film. Through Shadow Park Pictures, I will produce my first feature independently and ideally push for a first look deal later down the line to partner with a major studio.
