I am starting a part-time woodworking business, working out of my garage. I will be starting with small items (cutting boards, coasters, decorative items) and will work up to larger commissions as I build up clients. I have about 8 years experience as a hobbyist woodworker, and have built a variety of items for family over the years, including cutting boards, tables, planters, and bookshelves. To start, I will probably be selling locally and add a website for smaller items as demand builds. I intend to take commissions for larger items (desks, tables, chairs, etc.) as my business grows.
