I am seeking funding for a prototype to be made and perfected of the patented product I designed as of 2019, called “The Animal Alarm”. I am seeking licensing partners to proceed with a working prototype that will revolutionize safety on our roadways.  I have already been in contact with the Department of Transportation for Colorado, they are eager to test the prototype.  My product is designed to keep animals from crossing when vehicles are present.  It is designed to not change their migration patterns, and alert them to danger.  Animal vehicle collision in several states is a regular occurring issue.  Costs of repairs through insurance companies are high, and the injuries or loss of life being the largest cost whether to humans or animals, or both.  The product has an extensive computer software requirement, initial cost to produce and perfect has been estimated previously starting at 250,000.   Why is the computer software initial completion of design so costly?  I believe the estimates I have received combining several technologies creates extensive programing, and this technology pairing has never been done.   The computer has a camera front and back, motion detectors front and back, to identify an animal approaching the roadside 360 degrees from the unit location.  The animal is identified through the computer and then the program determines if there is also a vehicle in the close proximity, within 500 feet.  How does this occur?  The computer identifies that a vehicle is present through radar detection, motion detection, and noise detection.  The noise detector on the unit confirms the threat and going forward looking at determining the electric car as well as a gas ran vehicle.  Within the unit there is infra-red technology components to identify and utilize 24 hours a day.   The computer program not only needs to identify the animal, the vehicle, the concern of collision, and record the data, it has to capture the data to review or save. As well as the ability to view real time, if malfunctioning is occurring.  In the event an animal and vehicle are going to collide, a silent alarm is set off, (noise at a decibel that animals detect, but humans can not hear), it will project towards the animal to keep it from continuing into the roadway, eliminating the hazard.  The software is intricate, but the outcome will be remarkable.  It has the capability to be sufficient with solar paneling that is on the top and sides of the unit to generate function with a battery back-up.  The computer is able to detect failure in itself and can alarm the monitoring facility (ie:  government Department of Transportation hub).  The success of this software going forward will avert animals crossing with vehicles present, avoiding collisions, helping several areas of current concern with insurance companies costs premiums and payouts, allowing animals to thrive, people to not be hurt or killed, unsightly carnage in or on the side of roadways.  Several states are gaining funding to pick up the carnage on the side of the roadways. This will take care of removal from sight of the animal, the smell, the lure of other animals to the area both domestic or wild. Although esthetics are helpful, now where to dump, bury, take, and incinerate.  All the technology for achieving this computer programing isn't new, just the collaboration of the technology.  The computer also reads and activates the battery back up in times of solar panel weakness, to keep the unit functioning. The computer can detect issues with the outer casing, heat to cold or rain sleet or snow build up.  The top of the unit sits at a 45 degree angle to let water fall away from it, so that puddling water does not occur or take away from the solar power charging.  I am seeking licensee investors to travel this journey with me to the next step of roadway safety.  This is the only invention like this, patented, and directed towards the animal to learn, and modify their behavior, associating danger with the alarm.  Animals are extremely sensitive to sounds and will normally respond by freezing in their tracks or going the opposite way to flee from the interruption of noise.  Since the silent alarm can only be heard at a frequency that animals can detect there is no concern of noise pollution for human population.  The unit can detect an animal the size of a skunk to the size of a moose, with everything in between.  This is a product that would be sold to and assist with government agencies to keep roads safer for travel and keep animal vehicle collisions an occurrence that happens just once in a while.  Recently, Congress voted to provide funding ideas to keep animals off the roadways and assist with the need to address this issue.  With people continuing to encroach more onto lands where animal habitat once thrived, the animals have no place to roam, and are converging into neighborhoods, creating other concerns.  This is causing issues for people and the wild animal survival. There needs to be an active solution, our current ways of addressing this issue have not been the success we need. Whether or not you see the urgency, the need is there.  There are more people, taking up more space, taking away from the areas where animals can live, moving into the animal habitat and creating a not always positive interaction.  It all is connected, and issues need to be addressed.   In a large picture this can ultimately affect wildlife existence and their habitat.  With the ability to change animal behavior, people and animals will avoid collision, insurance companies will have less damage claims to vehicles, less unsightly carnage from death of animals on the roadways.  I started my company, Safe Innovations LLC, as a storefront to begin with this patented product " The Animal Alarm AA-100".  I will continue to choose to adapt and find solutions for other safety concerns.  I look at making our world and the roadways a safe.  I seek a partnership to changing the world as we know it with a smaller footprint of adaption.  I hope to have piqued your interest to visit and talk about the possibilities going forward, prototype perfected, tested on our highways, and production moving forward, with your funding assistance.  Thank you for your consideration.
