RyXe -ing Unlimited

An in-the-works, epic fantasy novel, with plans for self-publishing, and many long-term plans.

Getting into more detail, this is a project I've had for nearly 8 years now, working on it very one-off, or sparingly, and it was never intended to be published.

After having presented it to friends and family as small talk, they urged me to turn it into a career, but without financial aid for daily living expenses; and needing to work a day job to fulfill said expenses; I find it difficult to dedicate myself to it.

If I had the proper funding, it could quite possibly be ready for publishing within 3 years; at least as an E-book.

I don't work well under pressure, and for that reason is why I have given myself that timeframe.

Onto more details on the plans for the project.

For marketing, I can only really think about online ads, and social media outlets, possibly contracting high-profile figures to advertise to their high volume of audiences.

As for the target audience, I'm not quite sure yet. I have thoughts on the possible age group being from late teens to late thirties, but there could be audiences outside of this age group, that may be interested in this type of read.

One thing I may be sure about, this read is not for the feint of heart, nor for immature, or easily offended/close-minded audiences.

All depending on its success, printed copies and assorted merchandise would more than likey be next on the roadmap, setting up a dedicated fan website, with an online shop, for them.

And while I'd love to see an animated series be made from it, and possibly even a movie; both animated and live-action; and a videogame, it's difficult to foresee if these will become a reality.

After having published this first novel, the plan is to continue with the next volumes, which, are vaguely planned up to the fourth installment. These, however, may or may not contain enough content to justify their own separate volumes, and may need to be compressed into only the second or third volumes.
