Rosie's Diner

My name is Mimi Reilly.  I am the current manager at Rosie's Diner in Monument, CO.  The original 50's themed diner is for sale, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to buy it. I have been with the restaurant for almost 10 years, working under the mentorship of the owner who has created an established, successful, staple to Monument, Colorado.  The community is extremely supportive of the diner and myself because of my longevity, personable traits, and strong work ethic.  Not to mention, I have the actual support from the current staff employed.  I graduate UCCS in December of 2022 with a Bachelor's in Business Management, so I can combine my education and experience to grow the diner to new levels.  I am hard-working, dedicated, and determined to continue to make the diner succeed as it has for the last 22 years. 

Being that I have worked at a diner for so long, I do not have hundreds of thousands of dollars readily available.  The owner has been flexible with the purchase options because he would like to see me thrive and keep his legacy alive.  I have the money for the start-up costs, such as two pay periods for payroll and utilities, but I do not have the money for a down payment on the commercial real estate.  I am need of the finances to fund the business portion which equates to $920,000.  The owner himself has volunteered to hold the note for the property for myself.   I am requesting assistance to help me achieve my dream of, not just, owning my own restaurant, but owning and operating a prosperous restaurant.  

I have been given an alternative option for a bank backed loan but I am seeking help with the down payment which is roughly $300,000 for the property while the owner holds a note over the business.
