The Problem:

While many digital games exist, none also exist that also include a physical location that acts as an amusement park, specifically geared for adults.  Over the next few years there will be an explosion of not just VR games but, games that use procedurally generation to add depth to well-crafted games.

Our Solution:

We plan on getting ahead of the majority of Game Development companies and create a VR game as a starting point for our game series (a series that will span at least a decade), with a special focus for our brand of games existing on the PlayStation System.  While this game development is happening, we plan to begin development of an adult oriented amusement park.  This park will exist in Colorado, along the Northern Front Range and will encompass enough content to require three days worth of time to see everything.  Major parts of this park will be focused/designed around the unique game series we are developing and will also serve to promote the game series.

The Market:

The video gaming market is huge, with the segment expected to hit 365.6 billion dollars in 2023.  The VR industry is exploding with a market of 8 billion in 2021 but a projected market of 52.4 billion by 2028.  While the economy is certainly in an unstable state, Video Games provide a cheap means of entertainment and escape.

When it comes to the amusement park aspect of the business, most parks are continually raising their prices in order to curb the number of people that are attending the parks.  There is a deep desire it seems in the population to physically experience something unique and special.  This park will fill a gap in the amusement park industry by focusing mainly on adult entertainment (children will not be ignored) having a cap of the number of people allowed into the park and keeping the entry fee low to ensure that it is accessible to larger portions of the population.

The Competition:

Competition in this area is widespread.  Video game companies start up all the time though very few succeed.  VR oriented companies will grow over the next few years but currently are not a large share of the gaming industry.

In the Colorado area there are two major amusement parks.  The first being Six Flags (Elitch Gardens) and a Meow Wolf.  Both are in Denver and neither are Video Game oriented.  While Six Flags has rides, most of them are roller coaster based and the park we are planning does not have a roller coaster in it.  Meow Wolf is art based and while it is closer in comparison to our planned park, it does not contain any rides at all.  Our park is a mixture of art, rides and interactive game play.  A type of park that has no real competition.

Why Us?:

Why invest in our company.  There are many great game developers out there and a few large established amusement park companies.  We feel that we are uniquely positioned hit both an emerging part of the market and an "un-utilized" part of the market.  As far as we know, no one else is pursuing this method of promotion and augmentation through an amusement park for a video game series.

Forecast:

In the first year of the business we anticipate make little to no revenue.  The initial game "UNC: Pathfinder" will need to be completed and placed first on the PlayStation with PSVR2 support in late 2023, then the steam store with Oculus and HTC support in early 2024.  The anticipated completion of the initial release version of this game is late 2023 with a price tag of $29.99.  We anticipate a minimum of $100,000 to $200,000 will be required to complete the game and begin work on the following games

Assuming the game is well received. Selling 500,000 on the PlayStation and 1,000,000 on Steam we can anticipate that during 2024 the game will generate 31,489,500 in revenue.  With the release of at least one game per year, as long as the interest in the game remains high we can expect those numbers to grow or at least remain the same over the 10 year minimum planned game release campaign.

The Amusement Park will play a large role in creating the player base, but will require a substantial amount of money up front.

Financing Needed:

The financing needed for a video game company and amusement park venture would depend on various factors such as the scale of the operations, the location of the amusement park, the size of the team, and the level of investment needed to develop the video game.
