Robo Point Guard is a revolutionary new training device for basketball that uses artificial intelligence and robotics to create game-like training scenarios. This allows players to improve their shooting accuracy, timing, and decision-making skills in a more challenging and realistic environment than traditional shooting machines.

The Market
• The global basketball market is estimated to be worth $50 billion.
• United States is the largest market, accounting for over $20 billion.
• Average salary for the top 15 NBA players in the 2022-2023 season is $48,070,014, while the average salary for all NBA players is $7.94 million.
• The minimum salaries range in the NBA is from under $1 Million to $3 Million.
• The difference between being the 450th best player in the world and the 225th best player in the world is $5 Million per year. That differential creates extreme value for any tool providing a competitive training edge.

With its innovative features and unlimited potential, Robo Point Guard is the future of basketball training. It can help NBA players, teams, and players at all levels get an edge in training and reach their full potential.

Market Trends
The global basketball technology market is booming and is expected to reach $41.8 billion by 2027. Some notable trends in the basketball technology market include:
• Player tracking and performance analytics using sensors and wearable devices.
• Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are being incorporated into basketball training and fan experiences.
• Shot tracking and shooting analysis using computer vision and machine learning.
• Data-driven coaching tools that provide coaches with access to sophisticated software and platforms.
• Training and skills development apps and other mobile applications tailored for basketball training.
These trends highlight the increasing integration of technology into basketball, enhancing player performance, training methodologies, fan experiences, and the overall growth of the sport.

Addressable Market
Here is breakdown of the addressable market:
• NBA – 30 Teams
• NBA Players – 450
• G-League – 30 Teams
• G-League Players - 640
• WNBA – 12 Teams
• WNBA Players - 122
• OTE – 3 Teams
• FIBA – 213 Teams
• FIBA Players ~ 2,769
• NCAA Division I – 352 Teams
• NCAA Division II – 305 Teams
• NCAA Division III – 436 Teams
• Basketball Academy’s (worldwide) - ~ 3,000
• High Schools in the U.S. – 17,000
• Professional Trainers (worldwide) ~ 18,000
That it a total number of ~43,362 potential customers.
If we were only able to reach 25% of that market, that is a total of 10,840 customers x $25,000 per device that would generate over $271M in revenue. That does not factor in any revenue from our subscription service, or for different lower cost versions of the device that could address under-served markets as well as a device that is more affordable for the home consumer and the general public.

Pricing Strategy
NBA Teams spend millions of dollars on players with long-term contracts. NCAA teams spend millions on training equipment to recruit the best talent. Robo Point Guard will be an easy value proposition to demonstrate this value. Robo Point Guard’s premium pricing is easily justified by the high ROI of improving a high caliber player’s ability by a marginal but measurable amount.

Each unit will retail for $25k with the docking station and robot sold separately if a team wishes to purchase more than one robot. The other pricing strategy we are going to employ is a RaaS (Robots as a Service) model.  Teams or schools would have the opportunity to have limited or perhaps no upfront costs and lease the system on a monthly basis. This would change the model for CAPEX to OPEX and lower the cost of entry for many. As part of the RaaS model we would provide maintenance and support and the ability for upgrades and other feature enhancements.

Traction
At this stage we are building our beta prototype and have made significant progress with many components of our device. We have a moving prototype that we are currently testing at this time while also working on the overall configuration and integration. We have design patent that has been granted and a utility patent that has been filed. We have trademarks on Robo Point Guard and Robo PG. We had been previously selected by FIBA for a potential pilot project and to be included in the Equipment Venue program. We have also been asked by Mass Robotics to apply to their Spring Cohort.

The Team
The Robo Point Guard team is composed of experienced professionals with a proven history in the basketball industry. The team includes:
• A former NBA player
• A former college basketball coach.
• A sports tech leader who owns a professional basketball team in Europe.
• A software engineer with experience in robotics and artificial intelligence.
• A former Performance Director for an NBA team
