RF spectrum is facing unprecedented demand, with satellite being relied upon for many critical services around the globe, as well as an enabler of next generation technology. Fulfilling a role in this new landscape means that the industry needs to optimize the finite radio spectrum to ensure seamless and continual availability.

At RCC/Quadsat, we are getting the industry closer to this goal through technology to enable the accurate measurements and calibration of the millions of antennas that are a prerequisite for our connected planet.

Our state-of-the-art drone-based solution addresses the growing challenges that the satellite industry faces when testing and verifying RF equipment. The Quadsat system delivers cost and time-efficient testing and verification of RF equipment, without compromising on quality. This is making high quality antenna testing and diagnostics accessible, helping the satellite industry deliver seamless connectivity, reduce the risk of interference, and keep customers connected. https://youtu.be/ixxJn3QTxGA

QuadSAT and RCC signed an MoU in November 2023 naming RCC as the preferred provider of Quad SAT services and systems in the US, Canada and Mexico for both commercial and government clients. RCC has over 35 years of experience in the satellite communications domain, having worked with some of the largest satcom networks in the world.  With RCC's experience and connections QuadSAT is confident that we can grow their US business. QuadSAT has sold ~$750K in services in the US in 2022-23 to one of the largest satellite service providers, Amazon Project Kuiper. Amazon has a standing order for testing to be performed periodically each year, RCC will take over responsibility for all current QuadSAT customers in the territory.

Sales Models:
QuadSAT is delivered via two models
1. System Sale: larger customers may choose to purchase one or more systems so they can perform testing on their own schedules and with their own engineers. Systems are priced from $100K USD to $140K USD depending on options. Systems purchased also require a yearly recurring software license fee of ~$25K and a usage fee of ~$6K/mo. Historically system sales account for ~25% of revenue
2. System as a Service (SaaS): Customers contract with RCC/QuadSAT to have testing, verification and analysis performed. We meet with the customer and gather data on the system to be tested in addition to which tests the customer requires. RCC/QuadSAT technicians travel to the customer site and perform the tests. The average cost of testing historically has been ~$70K per mission, with some larger missions reaching >$400K each. SaaS mission account for ~75% of revenue
