The Business

We are a husband and wife team, founded with a passion for helping those in need on the road. We have set out to offer timely and professional towing solutions to our customers. Our goal is to become the go-to towing service provider in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are prepared to offer light and medium duty towing services for motorists on the road and commercial vehicles alike. As well as specialty towing equipment for specialized, modified vehicles, allowing us to offer a service not offered by our competitors.

The Team

We are a team of husband (Dennis) and wife (Jessica) with a primary commitment to safety. Dennis has been in the towing industry for over a decade and has worked for a number of different companies in the industry gaining a vast knowledge of towing and recovery procedures. He is WreckMaster certified, achieving top of his class. He is highly respected by industry members both locally, nationally and internationally, including the lead WreckMaster instructor and industry innovators, such as Ivor Arvag, among others.

Dennis is a class 3 driver and has taken his Provincial Hours of Service course. He maintains excellent logs and records. As a dual ticketed journeyman mechanic, Dennis has a vast knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of loading, securement and safe transit of any vehicle in question. He has towed and recovered a multitude of vehicles in a variety of casualty situations.

Jessica discovered she had a passion for the towing industry when she met Dennis & learned how incredibly technical his job is. She is detail oriented and highly organized. She is highly knowledgeable in technology and social media marketing. She is a technically savvy individual with a keen eye for organization. She is fiscally responsible and committed to any project she takes on. Jessica has a strong attention to detail allowing her to assist in the maintaining of accurate and timely records. As a certified Information Access and Privacy Professional, Jessica is well versed in the ways different legislation work together to ensure the smooth operation of different day to day tasks (i.e. OH&S standards, Traffic Safety Act, etc.). Jessica's role as Business Administrator will include assisting with dispatching through an app and maintaining our online presence. 

The Market

As we prepare to launch in Edmonton, Alberta and the surrounding areas, we are entering a competitive yet promising market. The towing and recovery industry in this region is essential for keeping traffic flowing smoothly and providing assistance to motorists in need. With a focus on serving commercial vehicles and specialized modified vehicles, our business aims to provide timely and professional towing solutions to meet the growing demand for reliable roadside assistance. We also aim to expand to include service trucks capable of servicing the growing number of vehicles on the roads today, including EV's.

Progress/Proof

There is a tow truck, fully equipped that we can purchase as soon as we have capital for it. There is no work required on the truck to make it operational. The truck is so completely outfitted, we could begin generating revenue the minute we have it paid for.

We have spoken to industry experts who have provided very positive feedback regarding our business plan and rate sheet. It has been confirmed our rate sheet is very competitive. These industry experts look forward to working with us.

We have reached out to potential clients and have a handful of clients ready to do business with us as soon as we are up off the ground. As a certified WreckMaster, Dennis has taken the necessary training to be one of the top operators in the industry.

Objectives/Future

  • Within the next year, we aspire to grow our services to include additional roadside solutions, such as boosts (including EV charging), tire changes & lockout services, meeting needs of our customers & enhancing our competitive edge in the market.
  • Over the next two years, we plan to collaborate with local businesses and community organizations to sponsor events and initiatives that align with our brand values, increasing our visibility and fostering positive relationships within the community 
  • Within the next 3 to 5 years, we intend to grow our services to include additional roadside solutions such as traffic control & incident scene management, including environmental clean up.
  • By the end of the fifth year, we aim to grow our fleet with the addition of light duty deck and wrecker services allowing our company to reach a larger range of customers.
