          My name is Bobby Wooley, I am starting an Agriculture based business to begin with selling bagged and bulk livestock feed and expanding services as funds allow in the Rio Grande Valley area of South Texas. I have a degree in animal production from Tarlton State University in Stephenville, Tx. I have a background in the agriculture industry, contract management, natural resource management, livestock production and crop production. I worked in the agriculture industry farming to produce crops such as peanuts and milo and produced cut and baled hay crops. I have worked in the livestock industry raising horses, cattle, swine and goats. I worked for other farms and ranches and farmed and ranched on a small scale myself. I also worked in the construction industry testing and inspecting construction for private industries and with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I worked as a Construction Rep, Park Ranger, Engineering Tech and Facility Assessment Coordinator for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I managed large facility maintenance contracts, supervised several engineering technicians and performed facility assessment for military facilities. I worked for the General Services Administration to manage multimillion dollar construction, architectural and engineering contracts. I have a varied background which has allowed me to develop many skills that are beneficial to managing the types of industries I am proposing. 
          I grew up in agriculture and at a young age tried to get started in an agriculture business but have never been able to break into it at a capacity that would make a sustainable living. This is my shot at finally fulfilling that desire. One of the things that helped me in my career was the fact that I could find solutions for problems and put those solutions to work.
 What I see in the ag industries particularly for the livestock feed stores these days are smaller shops that are a sideline for most of the small businesses but, not really deep into the ag business part. Many of the smaller stores are convenience stores that also sell feed as a side business. The medium to large Agriculture Supply stores provides the majority portion of the feed and agriculture products to the public in the area. Even when I shop stores of this size, I do not see the customer service I think should be provided to customers. These types of stores seem to be very impersonal to their customers, I would like to change that. 
          I worked part time at one of the more successful big box lumber and hardware stores in Texas, the manager who made it successful was adamant that the employees assure that customers were taken care of, if we did not know how to solve a problem for a customer, we were required to find someone who could. That made an impression on me that I want to carry into my own business. In my previous career my biggest asset was the ability to assess what needed to be done, develop a plan and them concentrate on getting projects done. I usually kept several projects going at one time. 
          I want to develop a team that works with clients to help them find solutions to their personal ag industry needs, regardless of what that is. Work with clients to determine what their needs are, help develop a plan to address their situation and a plan to solve their issue. In order to do this to the greatest extent possible it will be necessary to continue to develop various aspects of the agriculture industry. I plan to do this by starting a bagged and bulk feed business and using the funds earned from that business to develop future aspects of the agriculture industry.
          I plan for the team to put this into action by marketing directly to the approx. 500 Ranches and many farms located in the counties of the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas Area. The team will meet with clients to show them what we can do for them and develop bag, bulk and hay feed and farm supply contracts with each client to address their livestock feed and supply needs. Particular attention will be made to address the bulk feed needs of each client and getting the required feeds delivered to their ranch or farm. While performing this marketing program discuss other needs of each client and work do develop industries to address those needs. 
          The larger competitors and smaller ones as well, are well established and have a developed client base. Our team has got to show the areas farmers and ranchers that we can offer a competitive product at a competitive price and provide the products that they need. We need to be able to provide a quality product delivered at a competitive price in a timely manner and perform our work consistently day in and day out. Which will be no easy task.
          In the beginning we will develop our market by first, cold calling to introduce ourselves. Send out flyers showcasing our team and our products. Secondly, we will visit the farm and ranches to talk with the customers. Many times, we will be unable to access the actual farm base headquarters. A large number of these farms and ranches are very large and are protected by a secure entrance. When we cannot access the actual headquarters, we will attach a laminated flyer to the main gate that can be picked up by the customers. We will continue to make contact as long as possible or until we are told to cease trying to make contact. We will sponsor events to bring customers into the store and provide give aways or door prizes. We will sponsor the purchasing of show stock at the various county livestock shows. We will work with the County Agriculture Extension Service to sponsor programs to provide information to the area livestock producers and farmers. We will develop a discount program scaled to the number of products purchased.
 The team will consist of myself and personnel to perform marketing and advertising. Licensed Drivers, Operators and sufficient laborers to assure that we are responsive to our customers. A number of services such as taxes, websites and business software development and construction will be performed by private venues and contractors. I would like to find an investor who can help with the development of the business end and the legal aspects of the process and invest in developing this business.
In order to start AGRI - Farm & Ranch Services LLC will require an initial investment of $794,669.94 to start the industries as shown below. The livestock feed production plant would be funded by founder net income. It is proposed that the investor would receive 25% of the net annual income for the first two years and receive payout to the investor of the initial investment in the second year or as soon as possible. The investor would continue to receive 25% of the annual net income for the remaining three years for a total of five years or until the initial investment is paid back, at which time the investor would relinquish receiving proceeds, and the founder would begin to receive 100% of the net income. This would end the relationship with the investor and AGRI - Farm & Ranch Services LLC. 
          The projections are based on purchasing land to operate all of the industries however, substantial savings can be made by initially leasing lands to develop the industries, including Store, crop production, and livestock production. The development of the industries should remain fluid depending on the needs of clients, ease of development and time required for development. If AGRI - Farm & Ranch Services LLC starts on leased land it should transition to purchasing property to develop AGRI - Farm & Ranch Services LLC village that would house the majority of the future industries all in one location with the exception of crop production and livestock production.
          The development of the bagged and bulk feed should be the anchor industry around which the other industries will be developed. Research indicates that there are no bulk feed suppliers within 200 miles of the area. The area farms and ranches transport in bulk feed. Developing the bulk feed portion of the industry would develop a substantial revenue stream. Free delivery of the products and providing a competitive price for products will provide a competitive edge for the industry. As soon as funds allow -AGRI - Farm & Ranch Services LLC will transition from purchasing feed from other livestock feed producers to producing its own brand of feed in its own plant. The plant would be developed on site with AGRI - Farm & Ranch Services LLC village. 
          My research shows that we need to obtain 1.35% of the total market availability for the livestock numbers that are raised in the counties we will serve. While there are approx. 60 businesses that sell bagged feed in the market area, there are no businesses that sell bulk feed in the same area. The nearest bulk feed provider is approx. 200 miles away and bulk orders have to be transported into the area. We plan to own a large market share of the bulk feed industry portion along with a share of the bagged feed market. Most of the bagged feed providers are small mom and pop stores. There are several larger stores in the area such as Tractor Supply, Martin Farm and Ranch, Murdoc's and Tandy’s, these would be the major competition. We plan to offer free delivery in order to obtain an edge in the market. We will set up a daily route to deliver orders within 48 hrs. of the client’s order, similar to the way amazon, UPS and other delivery services function.

AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC will develop the following initial industries:

Bagged and Bulk Livestock Feed –
Develop store front for the sale and delivery of livestock feed to area farms and ranches. Bulk feed is not available in the area. Purchase feed from commercial livestock feed producers. Sell bagged and bulk feed from store and online. Deliver feed within 100 miles of store front.

Farm and Ranch Supplies – Sale of hardware, herbicides, pesticides, water troughs, feeders, plow shares, equine tack, vet supplies and other supplies and materials for all types of livestock.

Hotshot/Transport services - Haul truck and trailer for pickup and delivery of time sensitive products and other quick delivery items including machinery, equipment, livestock and other commodities. Contract with private companies and Farms and Ranches.

Order buyer and transport for livestock – Order purchase and transport of livestock for farms and ranches. Contract to buy for various Farms and Ranches or feedlots.

Future Industries to develop will include:

AI (Artificial Insemination) - Provide Tech, tools and equipment to perform AI on all types of livestock. Provide semen on an as needed basis and store for short term use

Pregnancy Testing – Provide Tech, tools and equipment to perform pregnancy testing for all types of livestock. Purchase sonagram equipment for testing of livestock for pregnancy determination.

Soil Sampling – Sampling of fields and pastures to develop fertilization plans for farms and ranches. Develop sampling plan for pastures and fields. Prepare samples and send to lab for testing. With test results work with client to develop a comprehensive plan for fertilization.

Fertilizer/Herbicide/Pesticide supply and application – Sales and application of all types of fertilizer for farms and ranches. As fertilization plans are developed through soil testing, supply all types of fertilizers granulated and liquid to complete the plan. Provide large capacity trucks and spreaders or sprayers to apply all types of fertilizer. Store granulated and liquid fertilizers both bulk, tank, bagged and containerized supplies. Provide nurse tanks, bulk bins, small towable spreaders and sprayers. Using both ground and aerial equipment spray, treat farms and ranches for herbicide/pesticide control.

Purchase of windmill/repair/installation/removal - Provide labor, tools and equipment to purchase, install, repair and service all types of windmills, solar pumps etc.. Purchase and repair used windmills for resale, Sales of new windmills and solar pumps. Service windmills in the field, repair in place and remove for repair. Install windmills, pumps and holding tanks.

Capture and removal of nuisance livestock and wildlife – Provide Labor, tools and equipment to trap, capture and remove nuisance livestock, wildlife etc. Capture and remove loose livestock, wildlife, nuisance animals, hogs, snakes, coyotes and other predatory wildlife.

Apiary – Produce honey for sale to the public and provide farmers with bees and hives for pollination of vegetables, citrus and other crops. Maintain bees and hives for producing honey. Bottle and sell honey to the public, stores and businesses. Contract with farmers and ranchers to provide bees and hives for pollination.

Fencing Services - Install all types of fences, gates, entrances, pens and corrals. Install according to client specs all types of fencing, Field fence, barbed wire, chain-link, high fence, wood, pipe and other types as needed. Install corners, braces, deadmen etc. Construct entrances pipe, block, wood, timber entrances. Install pipe, wire, wood and other types of pens, corrals etc.

Wildlife corridor clearing, establish/maintain firebreaks – Provide labor, tools and equipment to clear, root plow, and maintain areas for farms and ranches. Clear wildlife corridors, root plow, plant food plots. Establish perimeter, cross fence and other firebreaks by clearing, plowing and maintaining with blade. 

Land Prep - Prepare land for planting of food plots, crops and establishment of native and improved grass pastures. Clear, root plow, pile brush, burn piles, smooth and plant food plots, native and improved pastures, establish flood irrigation ditches, grade for optimum irrigation flow.

Construction materials (fill dirt, topsoil, caliche etc.) - Provide Labor, tools and equipment to supply materials for various types of construction. Transport materials to project site.

Construction equipment and farm equipment rental – Rental of construction and farm equipment to the public. Supply new and used equipment for rent to the public.

Tire sales, service and repair, mobile tire service – Sales of all types of tires, tire repair and mobile tire service. Provide all types of tires and repair. Mobile service truck for onsite repairs and installation.

Well drilling, pump sales/service/repair/parts and installation – Provide labor, tools and equipment to drill water wells, sales/service of water well pumps, installation, repairs and parts. Well drilling, casing and sealing, placement of pumps and equipment, connect equipment. Service pumps and wells.

Custom cutting/baling of all types of hay – Provide labor, tools and equipment to Cut and bale all types of hay for the public. Bale all types of hay, Purchase for sale and supply for AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC hay sales. 

Loading and transport of hay, crops and other items – Provide Labor, tools and equipment to load, transport and unload all types of farm products. Provide trucks/trailers for transporting Hay, Citrus, vegetables and other types of materials. Hotshot heavier equipment and tools than normal hotshot services.

Excavation/Transport and placement of construction materials (Fill, gravel, rock, topsoil etc.) – Provide labor, tools and equipment to excavate, transport and place various types of construction materials. Excavate, grade project sites, placement and processing of construction materials, spread rock and gravel, compact materials on site, grade materials to site specifications. Excavate retention/water supply ponds, place materials for retention dams and other types of construction. Bid on various construction projects. 

Landscaping services - Installing irrigation systems, materials, plants, and hardscape for residential and commercial projects, residential and commercial lawn mowing. Bid on various landscape projects. Install irrigation systems, repair systems. Plant landscape plants, sod, seasonal flowers etc. Mow, trim and edge residential and commercial lawns. 

Acreage and Right of Way mowing - Provide labor tools and equipment to perform mowing for state, county and local highways, real estate and other contract mowing. Bid on large mowing projects, state and local highway ROW mowing. Commercial real estate mowing. Farm and Ranch mowing of all types.
Concrete materials - Develop a concrete plant to construct feed bunks, water troughs, septic tanks, cisterns, wheel stops and other concrete products. Setup concrete plant to mix concrete for various types of projects, supply concrete to farms and ranches and the general public.

Pipe products – Sale and installation of Corrugated metal pipe culverts, Corrugated Plastic pipe culverts and other types of pipes. Supply and install various types of culverts and pipe. Bid on various contracts to supply and install products.

Livestock Feed Production - Transition from providing feed sales to development of plant facilities for the production and sale of all types of livestock feeds. Develop plant to produce, bag and sell and transport livestock feed, produce bulk feed for sale. Purchase ingredients from local producers. 

Range Management Services - Assist ranches and farmers with Range Mangement services to develop native and improved grasses for grazing. Work with clients to develop range mangement plans. Prepare lands for planting native and improved grasses. Provide seed and plant materials(sprigs) for planting. 

Farm and Ranch building design/layout/surveying and construction – Provide labor, tools, and equipment to design, layout and construct farm and ranch type buildings and structures. Provide architectural and engineering design for various types of farm and ranch buildings and structures, retention ponds, dams, homes and other projects.

Propane Service - Provide store front for the sale of propane, provide mobile propane service for the area. Supply propane, tanks and other materials for Farms and Ranches and the general public. Supply propane to various businesses. Deliver propane to Farms and Ranches and the general public and remote sites.

Livestock commission sales – provide for the auction of all types of livestock, working pens and transport of livestock. Develop livestock commision for auctioning all types of livestock. Provide pens for holding livestock, working livestock and Feedlot for feeding livestock. Work with buyers to develop clients to purchase livestock from the public. Provide transport of all types of livestock.

Farm and Ranch Commodity Storage Facility - Develop storage facility silos for farm grains and other crops, forced heat and solar drying facility for grains and other crops. Transport of crops for storage, purchase grains directly from farms for sale on the open market. Purchase and dry for storage all types of grains, peanuts, and other crops. Purchase from growers and store for sale. Transport all types of grains, crops etc. Supply drying trailers both forced heat and solar trailers to dry grains and other crops. Provide elevator for storing grains. Use purchased grains for ingredients for Liverstock feed production plant.

Production of all types of hay (Coastal, Alfalfa, Haygrazer etc) - Lease or purchase lands for the production of various types of livestock hay. The initial product to be used to enhance the other AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC with the remainder to be sold to the general public. Plant, and grow various types of hay for sale to the public and to supply AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC with hay for sale. Store hay for sale. Transport hay to other stores and businesses. Use hay to supply ingredients for Feed Production plant.

Production of various crops (Milo, Corn, Soybeans, Cotton etc) - Lease or purchase of land for the production of various crops. Initial products to be used in other AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC Industries with the remainder to be sold on open market.

Contract harvesting of crops (milo, corn, soybeans, cotton etc). - Provide labor, tools and equipment to harvest and transport various types of crops. Contract with local fasrmers and ranchers to harvest crops. Follow the harvest season north as the crops ripen for harvesting.

Farm and Ranch Management - contract for the management of and provide crews and equipment for Farms and Ranches. Along with absentee clients develop mangement plan for various farm and ranches. Manage livestock, crops and other aspects of farming and ranching. Plant crops, harvest, bale and transport crops. Feed, doctor and work livestock. 

Auction Services – Lease or purchase of land for Equipment, tools, property and other items for auction. Develop monthly auction service for various types of equipment, farm and ranch auctions. Develop online auctions for equipment, livestock for farm and ranch liquidation auctions.

Ag Scrap Iron - Purchase/transport and disposal of all types of agriculture scrap iron. Develop transport and onsite weighing of ag scrap iron. Purchase by weight, transport scrap iron for sale. Purchased of various types of equipment to re-condition equipment for sale to the public.

Welding, Machine and Industrial shop - Development of Machine and Welding shop to repair farm and ranch equipment, contruction of various types of trailers, portable fence panels etc. for sale and rental. Repair of various types of equipment and other items. Provide for mobile welding/repair service.

Lease or purchase lands to operate livestock production program. Preferably developing all types of livestock production together.

Cow/Calf Beef Operation – Lease or purchase of land to raise calves for market and supply to AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC processing plant and butcher shop. Meat sales to the general public and local meat market stores and businesses. Raise calves for sale and replacement heifers for breeding program. Feed and hay supplied by AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC feed plant.

Meat Goat Nanny/Kid Operation – Lease or purchase of land to raise meat goat kids for market and supply to AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC processing plant and butcher shop. Meat sales to the general public and local meat market stores and businesses. Raise kids for sale and raise replacement for nannies. Feed and hay supplied by AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC feed plant.

Wool Ewe/Lamb Operation - Lease or purchase of land to raise lambs for market and supply to AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC processing plant and butcher shop. Meat Processing Plant/Butcher Shop – Develop processing plant for all types of direct farm to public meat and eggs, poultry and dairy. Livestock, eggs and fish provided by AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC. Sell meat/poultry and fish directly to the public and other businesses.

Natural Fertilizer Production – Using livestock production operations gather and process manure waste and waste from poultry production to develop natural ferlizer for AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC crop and hay production, landscaping etc. Excess fertilizer product to be sold on the open market. 

Manufacture Mulch Production – Using waste hay and crop residue to process materials to develop mulch products to be used in landscape operations. Excess product to be bagged and sold on the open market and to other businesses.

Greenhouses – Develop greenhouses for the production of plants for AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC landscaping operations, sales to the public Supply plants to other stores. Raise bedding plants, vegetables and other plants for sale.

AGRI - Farm & Ranch Service LLC will continue developing agriculture industries in the area. As the business grows the business will look for innovative ways to address the needs and requirements of the clients in the agriculture industry.
