We are a full service breakfast/lunch restaurant in Boynton Beach, Florida called The Owl Country Grille. We are a multi award winning local community business with a large and loyal customer base....Last year we brought in revenue of $742K and a net profit of $82K. We need to relocate and get away from a predatory landlord. Our current agreement gives the landlord sole discretion regarding the transfer of the lease or the sale of the business. He has used that as a weapon against us. We have attempted to sell our business three times in the past 19 months. Each time the landlord has found a way to kill the deal. Our most recent buyer currently owns a chain of 15 restaurants in Canada called The Sunnyside Grill. He is looking to get an E2 visa to come to the US and start a chain of restaurants here. He is an extremely qualified buyer who our landlord will not speak to. He sent an email saying he would not speak with our buyer unless we signed a notarized letter that would indemnify him, his friends and family and allow him to spend an unlimited amount of money to facilitate the deal
