Raising $200k to fund MVP of generative AI product design and manufacturing product

We use generative AI to create physical products directly from text.  We use the newest transformer models like those powering ChatGPT to allow customers to use natural language to explain the product they dream of and get a 3D print ready 3D model.  They can then download the model or use our services to manufacture the product they describe.

Our business model relies on two revenue sources. First, if I user creates a model and would like to manufacture it themselves or use as a game asset, they can download it for $9.  If they would like to have us manufacture it for them, the price is determined on the size and volume of the product with a 70% margin over material costs.

Early versions of this product are most suitable for toys and household goods.  Part of this pre-seed funding will go to user discovery to decide exactly which customer segment to focus on for a beachhead.

The  initial product is a website that will allow users to create models and download or order physical products. In the future we plan to introduce a marketplace for curated products generated on the platform and allow users to remix these existing designs to meet their needs.

The team consists of Griffin Rowell. Griffin is a former NASA JPL engineer and current Director of Technical Operations at Rhombus Power, a fast growing AI company solving the toughest problems facing the Department of Defense. He hold an MBA from UCLA Anderson, an MS in astronautical engineering from Purdue, and a BS in physics from UCSB. He served almost eight years in the US Air Force and was nominated by the US Air Force for astronaut selection.
