Renewable Ocean Energy, Inc. (ROE) solves the critical environmental challenge inherent in the production of electricity using fossil and nuclear fuels with Poseidon Hydroelectric system (PHS) that produces electricity on any water source including the 70% of the Earth’s surface. Every one-hundred megawatts (MWh) of Poseidon power eliminates fifty tons of carbon emissions without harm to the environment, birds, fish, or marine life. PHS operates on any water source such as a pond, lake, river, or ocean on a boat, oil-platform, or onshore with water access.
PHS blends three proven technologies to create a unique solution to energy production and is protected under one issued U.S. patent with one patent pending. The proof-of-concept prototype was unveiled to the Grapevine Texas Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas County Utility District in 2016 followed by an improved version shown on Fox Worldwide Business News with Kathy Ireland in 2021. PHS produces renewable electricity 24/7 without sun, wind, waves, tides, batteries, dam, or distributive electrical systems and connects directly to the present electrical grid for low-cost (.002 cents per kW) energy distribution. The absence of a dam voids the environmental concerns of fish kill, ecological damage to the environment and the risk of flooding. PHS was vetted with the Texas Environmental Quality Board and the National Oceanographic Administration Agency.
The need for electricity in developed countries will increase by more than 50% by 2050 as electric transportation, increased global temperatures, sea-level rise, and more computers for artificial intelligence and crypto mining. Customers include over seven thousand global power companies not counting military, government, and private businesses that all need more renewable power. Over one billion people worldwide do not have access to electricity and the prohibitive cost of electricity limits economic development while encouraging the usage of fossil fuels.
ROE’s plan to address this challenge is to construct a 2 MWh sales model on the Gulf of Mexico to start cash flow via a long-term power purchase agreement in the second year and provide a demonstration unit for customers. Our business model is to manufacture 250 kWh units in a factory for easy transport globally by ship, rail, truck, or helicopter. Multiple modules can be connected to address desired power needs in a specific location and allow for future expansion.
Revenues from power purchase agreements, unit sales and international licensing results in projected profitability of $ 10.9 billion in year six. The requested tranche of equity capital of $ 6.35 million will purchase property ($ 2 M), salaries, administrative, engineering, and marketing ($ 2 M), and materials for the 2 MW unit ($ 2.35 M). The global need for renewable energy and the demonstration of profit will lead to an acquisition by a global energy company. Gust.com has evaluated ROE to have a pre-money valuation of $ 3.8 million.
