ReHarvest Grocery rescues surplus and short‑dated food and resells it at affordable, even‑dollar prices — giving Bonham families access to quality groceries while reducing waste and supporting community wellness.

ReHarvest Grocery Enterprise LLC is a veteran-owned discount grocery and salvage-food business being developed in Bonham, Texas. Our mission is straightforward: help families stretch their grocery dollars by offering useful, affordable food and household products at prices that are accessible to people who are feeling the pressure of rising everyday expenses.

Business Model

ReHarvest operates on a value-driven discount grocery model. Rather than trying to compete with traditional supermarkets by carrying every brand and maintaining a large conventional inventory, ReHarvest will focus on purchasing merchandise at favorable costs and passing a substantial portion of those savings on to customers.

Our inventory will include salvage, closeout, overstock, discontinued, seasonal, and other value-priced merchandise, supplemented by products needed to create a useful grocery shopping experience.

An important part of the business model is ReHarvest's simple tiered-pricing approach. Products can be grouped into easy-to-understand price levels, helping customers quickly recognize value while simplifying merchandising and purchasing decisions.

The changing nature of salvage and closeout inventory also gives ReHarvest a "treasure hunt" shopping experience. Customers may discover different products, brands, and bargains from one visit to the next. This gives customers a reason not only to shop ReHarvest for necessities, but to return frequently to see what new deals have arrived.

Customers We Are Reaching

ReHarvest is designed to serve a broad customer base in Bonham and surrounding rural communities, with particular emphasis on:

  1. Working families trying to reduce their grocery expenses
  2. Seniors and retirees living on fixed incomes
  3. Veterans and military families
  4. Budget-conscious households
  5. Customers looking for bargains and closeout merchandise
  6. Families willing to consider different brands in exchange for significant savings
  7. Shoppers who enjoy discovering unexpected bargains
  8. People in Bonham and surrounding communities who would rather shop locally when they can get good value
ReHarvest's customer is not defined solely by income. Saving money has value to almost everyone. The store is intended to appeal both to households that need lower prices and to shoppers who simply enjoy getting more for their money.

Our Products and Customer Experience

ReHarvest will offer a changing selection of affordable grocery and household merchandise rather than attempting to duplicate a conventional supermarket. Depending upon available inventory and sourcing opportunities, the merchandise mix can include packaged foods, snacks, beverages, pantry staples, refrigerated and frozen products, household merchandise, and other closeout or specialty items.

The store concept also incorporates additional customer attractions we have been developing, including value-priced fountain beverages and specialty food opportunities, along with the Well-Nest wellness concept featuring products such as teas, herbs, and other wellness-oriented merchandise.

Together, these elements help make ReHarvest more than simply another place to buy groceries. Our goal is to establish a community-focused value destination where saving money and discovering something new are part of the shopping experience.

Employment and Local Economic Impact

ReHarvest also intends to create local employment opportunities. Initial staffing is planned to include:

  1. 1 Manager/Cashier
  2. 1 Cashier
  3. 1 Stocker
The lean staffing structure is intentional. It allows ReHarvest to control operating expenses during its early stages while providing the essential personnel needed for customer service, checkout, stocking, merchandising, and day-to-day store operations.

As the customer base and sales volume grow, staffing can be expanded to meet the needs of the business.

Founder and Leadership

Anthony Harvey, Founder

I am a United States Marine Corps veteran and a former business owner/operator. My background includes experience in logistics, procurement, operations, and customer service.

Those experiences are directly relevant to ReHarvest. A successful discount and salvage grocery operation depends on purchasing wisely, controlling costs, managing inventory, keeping products moving through the store, maintaining dependable operations, and providing customers with a reason to return.

I am also supported by family and local business relationships, giving ReHarvest a foundation that extends beyond the store itself.

What ReHarvest Is Ultimately Building

ReHarvest is being built around a simple principle:

Good food and everyday necessities should not become unaffordable simply because a family's budget is limited.

At the same time, ReHarvest is a for-profit business. The goal is to create a sustainable company by purchasing intelligently, operating efficiently, keeping overhead under control, creating multiple revenue opportunities, and building a loyal base of repeat customers.

ReHarvest combines affordability, smart purchasing, simple pricing, constantly changing bargains, personal customer service, and community involvement into one retail concept.

The long-term vision is to make ReHarvest a recognizable local destination for people who want to save money, discover great values, and support a locally operated veteran-owned business.

In short: ReHarvest turns purchasing opportunities into savings for customers, savings into repeat business, and repeat business into a sustainable community-centered grocery operation.
