Cabinet and countertop Installation business that provides professional installation services in a B2B regional market. With us having 35 years experience
in the area I know there is a high demand for this service. The demand on cabinet shops is heavy. I believe there is a market for a B2B installation
service. With our proven experience getting clients will be a simple matter of going to talk to them. They are so overstretched that I believe the
service that we are wanting to offer will be jumped on. It will free them up to continue to build without having to go install. We founded are
partnership in October of this year. We still work full-time jobs right now. But on the weekends we have been installing cabinets for 1 local shop. We
have a 2nd client already and there first install starts in 3 weeks. They will be our first commercial client. We are in talks with a 3rd client right
now who does very high end residential cabinetry, he wants us to start installing for him after the first of the year.
Without even trying to build our business it is growing. Our dilemma with quitting our day jobs and doing this full time is in the transportation of the
cabinets and most of our clients will want a net 30 to net 60 to fulfill our contracts. We have trucks and all the tools necessary to do the installs, but
we really need a couple of 16' enclosed trailers and a small enclosed tool trailer to transport the cabinets from their shops to the job-sites. The
remainder of the 50k would go into the business account and provide working capital until the contracts were paid out. We are more than willing to allow a
potential investor to hold the titles to the trailers to protect some of their investment, and we will consider any situations that minimize your risk.
The only thing stopping us from moving forward is the having the trailers, and the ability to float the business account. Even getting the funding to get
started with one trailer would be hugely helpful.
We currently are renting Uhual trucks to make the deliveries. Which is eating into our profits considerably. Once we can get away from the trucks and start using trailers our proceeds can grow. And not to mention the wasted time in going to rent the truck and returning it. In the last 5 weeks we have grossed $2900.00 That is on 5 Saturdays only. We try to keep Sundays home with our families. Net proceeds our $2250.00 with the majority of those expenses being the Uhual trucks. I have made a simple spreadsheet of our P & L that tracks all of our expenses and income. Also, we don't just want to take care of the local cabinet shops and handle there installs, But I have just started talking with the Home Depot about taking care of their Countertop and Cabinets Installations for their customers. We are discussing taking care of the regional area which is currently 2 stores in our area Fayetteville and Rogers. I do not know exactly how having an investor would work, but we are very open to having help scale this business. The goal is to get to a point we can not handle all the work so that we have to start scaling larger. With 2 trailers for delivery we can be on two different job-sites simultaneously, which will double our profits.
I have long term growth plans as well. For now we are dealing with the cabinets and laminate countertops, but I plan to also offer Granite, Quartz, and Solid Surface countertops as well. I am even considering to offer our own wholesale line of cabinetry (from an American Based Company) that can be purchased outright by the home owner. Eventually offering a showroom with cabinets and counters where the public or contractors (wholesale) can come and pick there kitchens and counters out. We have 35 years experience between us in this industry. What we need is a little help to get started. With the market the way it is in NW Arkansas, I believe this to be a great time to pursue this venture.
If there is anything I did not address that I should have please let me know. Thank you for your time and consideration.
