The Company was formed on 06/15/2023 as Limited Liability Company under Indiana state laws and headed by Arlene Flores and her seven children: Karina M. Torruella, Justin M. Flores, Kristian M. Torruella, Evan M. Torruella-Zoughy, Elias M. Torruella, Avilee M. Torruella, and Aviana M. Torruella.

Arlene Flores has had a cosmetology license for the past 25 years and an accounting degree for 20 years. Arlene also has a certificate in Graphic Design, so she designs most of her advertising for events and designs artwork for a clothing line. Arlene Flores was born and raised in the Bronx in New York City and her parents enrolled her in the Kips Bay Boys Club Dance Classes because of her natural talent and love of dance. After the sudden passing of her dance teacher, Arlene continued in to dance and choreographed routines to perform at different events. Arlene has successfully produced dance events in both New York and Florida. Arlene, who is the mother of seven talented children, has taught them dance and nurtured their talents. Arlene arranged for them to perform at various events while they were young and supported their desires to perform and teach dance.

Elias M. Torruella is the youngest son of Arlene Flores and has been in the performing arts sector for over 12 years. Elias has entered many dance competitions, talent shows and just recently won best choreography at a dance competition in New York. Karina M. Torruella also teaches Hip Hop, Zumba, and Jazz. Karina M. Torruella is also a licensed cosmetologist. Justin M. Flores is also a dancer in break dancing and has taught kids how to learn break dancing without actually breaking anything. Kristian M. Torruella is a barista and a dancer and has performed at multiple events. Kristian also holds a degree in Cyber Securities. Evan M. Zoughy (Torruella) is a personal trainer and boxer. He is also a dancer, however, has not performed at events created by RTP, LLC. Avilee M. Torruella is a make-up artist and photographer. Aviana M. Torruella is a dancer, make-up artist, and photographer. Since Aviana is the youngest, she has not had as many opportunities to perform at events due to her age.

Arlene can also design cakes which has led her to be hired to plan multiple events for friends and family. Eventually, Arlene was hired by clients outside of the friends and family circle. Along with her children, she would plan the events and have her children perform. Jose S. Flores, Arlene’s Dad, is a DJ and was often hired for her events. This is what led Arlene to consider running a multi-service business involving all the family members with talents to contribute to the business. This was difficult to get off the ground back in 2002 because of certain situations and some of the family members’ availability to devote to the business idea. However, the idea has always been in Arlene’s head to eventually put it together. Now the time has come when everyone is on board and has the availability to put their talents into the business idea of a multi-service business run by the family.

During the pandemic, Arlene invested in getting a vinyl cutter to start making t-shirts to sell online and created a clothing line called Bulletproof Butterfly Brand. This brand represents those who know the delicacy of life but live strong regardless of the struggles they suffer or the hurtful acts of others that they have endured. Arlene’s first designs catered to Korean Pop boy band known as BTS fans, and spiritual sayings. However, after relocating from Florida to Indiana the t-shirt business was put on hold until it could be figured out if it is beneficial to continue the t-shirt business. Now that Raining Talent Productions LLC is now starting up again, it has been decided that the vinyl cutting business for t-shirts will be part of the services provided by the company along with Direct-to-Garment printing for more intricate designs that can’t be done with vinyl. This will allow us to design clothing line for the dance community and product merch for our events.

Our Company can offer multiple services such as salon services, photography services, vinyl and DTG printing services (clothing line), choreography, and so much more. Arlene’s recent move to Bloomington Indiana made it more desirable to get the business started because there is not any business that offers multiple services for the performing arts industry in the area. There are very few venues that have the proper set up and capacity for the events that the Company would like to put together for the community. The Company believes that because this is new to the area, it will grow quickly and gain the trust of the community to be provide fun, exciting, and safe events. Eventually we would like to offer dance classes for Hip Hop Cultural Dance and invite well-known dancers in the industry to come and do workshops that anyone can take if interested in the style of dance being offered.

The location and setup are the most crucial aspect of growing this business and the company feels that it has found the perfect location with the perfect setup to run this type of business. The location houses office space of 3,680 sq. ft. with a 6,400 sq. ft. warehouse attached behind the office space that can house any size event the company puts together. There is an area perfect for a full-service salon, a full photo studio, a printing and garment room, a threading/wax room, and even a playroom that will be staffed for clients that have small children to place while having services or attending an event but could not find a sitter. There is an area to have vending machines and even a kitchen area to provide snacks and/or meals to staff, event goers, clients, and children in the playroom. There is adequate parking available after 5 pm and weekends at which most events will be held and there is a separate entrance to the warehouse, so event goers don’t have to come through the office area of the location. The cost of renting venues, which is the most expensive part of putting an event together, will be reduced or even eliminated with the use of this property. The location offers 10,080 sq. ft., which is the perfect amount of space to house our multi-service business and our events. The location is easy to get to by bus, car, and walking since it is right on the corner of two busy roads.

Our company is also aware that we may be limited to completely service all events fully so we will reach out to local businesses and network with freelancers to fully service those events that require a larger staff team. We are also considering adding catering to our services in the future so that we can fully service corporate events and private events. With that being said, our company can offer rental services of our warehouse for private events and corporate events. We can also allow freelancers to rent our warehouse to house their classes, or for dance practice/rehearsals.

Raining Talent Productions, LLC is currently held its first event at The FAR Center of Contemporary Arts on Rogers St on August 18th for the high schoolers and has two more events scheduled in the upcoming months. We are also seeking investments, funding, grants, and sponsorship from local businesses to fund the operations of our events. The Company will eventually employ full-time employees and part-time employees.

Business Mission

Our mission is to create fun, exciting, and safe event functions for the youths and young adults of Bloomington plus surrounding areas. We also want to provide a multi-service business that will be able to completely service any event for the public or private sector and we want to do this with a functioning network with local businesses in the Bloomington area so that we can bring a different tourism to Bloomington that will support the performing arts community here in Bloomington, as well as surrounding areas.

New Service

The Company is prepared to introduce the following service to the market:

Event Creation and Planning:  Create themed content for events in the public or private sector and provide multiple services such as, professional hair services, makeup artists, personal stylists, photography, videography, dance performers, choreography, and more.

Bloomington is a college town, and most events cater to the college students and to adults. There are very few events for the youth of Bloomington and the surrounding areas. Raining Talent Productions, LLC sees the need to provide themed events that will provide a fun, exciting and safe environment for the youth of Bloomington. There are no public dance competitions held in the Bloomington area and few talent shows outside of the local schools. We would like to produce such events here in the Bloomington area.
