Thank you for taking an interest in the Rafrican Diamond project. This is a 97.6 carat rough yellow-orange GIA certified diamond in the shape of the continent of Africa. We believe this diamond was found during the immediate post WWII era (1945-1950). The diamond's beautiful and unique natural stone indeed has riches beyond its face value. Our intention in seeking funding is to obtain the chain of custody. We already have the chain of custody from 1968 to present. We need the chain of custody prior to 1968. We believe obtaining the chain of custody prior to 1968 will be very costly and that is why we are seeking funding to gain complete knowledge of this diamond's origin story. A complete understanding of this diamond's history may increase the value exponentially. Certain experts we have encountered believe this diamond may be a world history piece.
