purchase a automotive repair shop franchise

    With over 50 years of experience and 2 sons working on ASE certificates, we can run a shop. I am a disabled veteran.  As I have a pension I will not take any monetary compensation. I want to give my kids something tangible to continue life.    I have 50+ years as a mechanic.  10 US Air Force,  40 years FedEx, 10 years teaching at community college.
I have an associate in aircraft maintenance.   I have operated a couple of profitable maintenance groups. (Miami Aircraft Technical Services),( Red Hawk Aviation). 
    Currently, we have in our backyard shop all the equipment needed for a shop.  In addition to tooling and set up already there. Also, have the capability for towing.
There are 4 cars in my driveway, sons are working on them. That is work done on their days off and after work by word of mouth. Repeat clientele. 
      We can do electrical work, mechanical such as brakes, front end, general service, troubleshooting, and utilizing a diagnostic laptop kept updated. Currently, sons are trained
  in the use of diagnosing laptops, welding, and front-end alignment, brakes, tires, and all repairs as needed.  The shop next door does bodywork.  
    Along with my sons, my wife has experience in record and bookkeeping for 15 years.  Our daughter has a master's degree and knows computers. so it will truly be a family operation. along with the current employees. 
    We have made connections with advertising folks locally. Currently, the owner does not advertise.  Also, have 2 truck clubs and a food truck for a weekend opening. Continue with weekend car shows.  Have events once a month. Invite city officials.  When not having a show have coffee and donuts for customers.  We will offer pick-up and drop-off for customers.  
     Employees in clean uniforms, shop kept clean at all times.  Know all the auto parts stores and be able to pick up parts when needed. Set up accounts for parts ordered by phone. Create a list of parts as needed.  parts brokers for overnight.
       I owe it to my sons to leave them with a future. A company that they can run together. My grandson is already helping his dad, uncle, and Papi, he will sweep, answer the phone and do whatever is needed on weekends.
