Sales training in the Auto Industry hasn't changed in over 30 years, it remains focused on how to overcome objections using various word tracks. Since it has not changed, it is easy to predict that 10-15% of an Auto Dealership Sales Staff will improve with this type of training and the rest won't remember what to say to their customers or when to say it. Today's Training Companies compete in a popularity contest to see who can get the most likes, or who gets the most people to hit the button below. Training Companies continue to showcase their extremely talented salespeople making it look extremely easy to use the various word tracks they teach. The problem for Auto Dealer's is that the common Sales Consultant is unable to retain the words tracks that are taught. The main reason is that they do not fully understand the psychology behind the word tracks or why they work, and they definitely do not understand any of the math involved in negotiating a car deal.

The past 2 years Dealers have neglected to train their sales teams due to the lack of inventory. Even without training their sales teams, Dealerships have enjoyed higher net profits than ever before. As their inventories begin filling back up and the profits begin to shrink, reality is going to set in and then chaos will follow. There are customers chomping at the bit to not only negotiate, but leave the Dealership if the price isn't right, simply because they can finally get the same vehicle at a Dealership nearby. We have developed a mobile app that is an easy to use, step by step negotiation tool. Our mobile app was developed, using our U.S. Patented formulas to provide vehicle appraisals, along with mathematically guiding the sales consultant through a 10 level negotiation process, while utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance and improve each negotiation.
Over the past 20+ years, my teams led 3 different Honda Dealer's to the top of New England's rankings in Sales Volume, Gross Profit (Avg. Per Unit), and CSI (Customer Scores). Using the exact same 10 level negotiation process, (we called it rule of thumb), we proved that when you teach a human being the psychology and mathematics behind a negotiation, it is easier for them to understand and therefore retain what they learn. We wanted to share it with more Dealers, but first needed to be able to shorten the learning curve. The only person on our team that is not a former leader in the Auto Industry, is our Chief Technology Officer, and he has spent the past 20+ years working with technology. He spent 5 of those years as the Director of IT for Swervepoint and played a key role helping them modernize their technology stack, advancing their exit strategy. More recently he has been the CTO and COO of ExecuServices and WaaSio.
