We are a western hat and apparel company based in Idaho. Our father, Randy Priest, was an Idaho cowboy and master hat maker, and we are continuing the tradition. Our company is called Priest Family Revival. We have been developing for three years and have been up and running this year; we opened our brick-and-mortar store in Boise, Idaho, in July.
Priest Family Revival is a western hat and apparel company based in Idaho. Our father, Randy Priest, was an Idaho cowboy and master hat maker. We are continuing his tradition — handmade hats and western spirit.
After three years of development, we soft-launched earlier this year. Our showroom is on Latah Street on the Boise Bench and opened in August 1st in a popular and up-and-coming neighborhood. It houses our hat bar, where customers are fitted in person, choose their shape, and select from hand-beaded bands and original adornments made by our family.
Products. Handmade wool and straw western hats; hat bands and adornments; western apparel including shirts, tees, and silk scarves; and snapback truckers carrying original Priest family artwork.
How we sell. Our business is built on five channels: the showroom, live events and activations, wholesale, brand collaborations, and online. The common thread is that people buy from us face to face — a custom hat is not a photograph purchase. Our customers are people who want something made rather than manufactured, and who care where it came from.
This year. We sold at Treefort Music Fest and Zootown Music Fest, and were jury-selected for Art in the Park in Boise, a three-day festival drawing 250,000 visitors. We hold a handful of wholesale accounts, one of which has reordered four times. We launched a collaboration with The Knitting Factory's Pappy & Harriet’s in Joshua Tree, California. We were were selected for the Cowboys & Indians holiday gift guide and will be the featured brand in their Spring fashion issue. This December we will be at a Faherty pop-up in Ketchum during the Sun Valley Film Festival, and at Cowboy Christmas in Las Vegas during the National Finals Rodeo.
Team. Cinnamon Sioux and Heather Rae Priest are sisters and co-founders of Priest Family Revival, along with their daughters, Stella Fletcher and Johnny Sequoyah. Their combined talents include fashion, merchandising, storytelling, filmmaking, and marketing.
