Polyhedral Planters is the name of the business. It's a custom porch planter company. Welded steel, edges only polyhedra as a focus, however the potential certainly is infinite to the mind's eye. I am a student of geometry, my knowledge comes from books, mostly; the biggest & most recent being Buckminster Fuller's Synregetics 1 and 2. Working construction has allowed me the opportunity to become familiar with power tools, and so I wish to express my knowledge accordingly. The customers span the full spectrum, all income brackets. Each planter is eye candy first and foremost, even if whomever is observing has zero understanding of geometric logic or considers its philosophic ramifications on the brain. So for me I see like high end retail, perhaps municipal governments looking to remodel main street, on the macro end. Conversely any plant lover or appreciator of quality craftsmanship will be drawn to them as well, no doubt. Proper construction can yield several thousand per planter. The funding will purchase all the tools necessary and find the right shop space. No other participants in this endeavor. As the business takes off, which I am certain it will, help will be acquired as needed. Perhaps niche will remain ideal, but the sky is the limit. Truly.
PS - I also have several very good concepts in the same spirit for stained glass windows, plant vases, and light fixtures.
